It was Carlisle's black Mercedes S55 AMG. When she went inside, she found Alice rather than Carlisle. Alice came to see if Bella was still alive after seeing her jump off the cliff in her vision.

Fortunately, Bella's mom wanted to marry Phil on a beach in Mexico, so she already had a passport. She considers this deja vu.

Bella turned to shout the words, and realized he didn't hear them because he was nowhere in sight. She caught a glimpse of a piece of a shoe near the edge of the trees.

Bella and Alice eventually reach New York City, and Bella has to tell Alice they landed while Alice was in the middle of a vision.

Off topic, but here is a funny fact I got from Stephenie Meyer's website. After the Cullens voted about whether or not Bella should become a vampire Edward went and broke something. "Edward ripped into halves a sixty inch plasma TV that the Cullens had shipped in from Korea because it's not available in the states yet. Emmett was a bit annoyed." -Stephenie Meyer

Alice tells Bella that Edward is going to be under the clock tower. She explains how Bella needs to get his attention before he walks into the sun. When Bella first gets his attention, he thinks he is dead.

Edward tells Bella "I'm here" while they head back to Bella's house to face the angry Charlie. (Charlie was mad because he found out about the motorcycles. Jake told Charlie about the bikes.) In the movie, he says "Marry Me".
