Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. According to Albert, what is "that warm feeling you get inside"?

Answer: Heartburn

Due to Albert's show of "unseasonal grumpiness", Death threatened, "NO SUGAR PIGGYWIGGY FOR YOU, ALBERT." Death was acting Hogfather, along with red robes, a sleigh, pigs and an elf in the form of Albert.
2. What was the name of the organiser of the "best and most select group of the city's singers"?

Answer: Anaglypta Huggs

Mrs Huggs believed that the custom of "wassailing" (singing songs that Mrs Huggs had carefully selected, through the streets) was an occasion for "fellowship and good cheer".
3. According to Ponder Stibbons: botanically, what is the banana?

Answer: A type of fish

As Ponder said, "According to my theory it's cladistically associated with the Krullian pipefish, sir, which of course is also yellow and goes around in bunches or shoals."
Archchancellor Ridcully: "And lives in trees?"
Ponder: "Well, not usually, sir. The banana is obviously exploiting a new niche."
4. What race is Modo?

Answer: Dwarf

Modo is Unseen University's gardener and odd-job man. Or rather, dwarf.
5. What is the name of Mrs Gaiter's daughter?

Answer: Twyla

Susan Sto Helit is the governess to both of Mrs Gaiter's children, Gawain and Twyla, as well as being a duchess and Death's granddaughter.
6. What was "the Castle of Bones" made of?

Answer: Ice

"The Castle of Bones" was supposedly inhabited by the Hogfather. By the time Susan got there, it was about to come crashing down. Then it did.
7. What is the first name of the Cheerful Fairy?

Answer: Gwendoline

The Cheerful Fairy, with the Blue Bird of Happiness (really a blue chicken), wasn't very cheerful.
8. What was the weapon used to kill Teatime?

Answer: Poker

"It only kills monsters," according to Twyla. Susan used the poker for, other than killing Teatime, disposing of monsters - bogeymen and the like.
9. Which member of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch was given a Burleigh and Stronginthearm crossbow?

Answer: Corporal Nobby Nobbs

Poor old Nobby Nobbs. From the Hogfather he hadn't been given anything at all throughout his entire life, and from everyone else he'd been given bath salts, herbal bath lumps, bath soap, bubble bath and other bath items. He can't understand why, because he barely ever has a bath.
10. What were the "Three Bulgies"?

Answer: Gerbils

All three Bulgies were buried behind Twyla's garden shed. They tended to die a lot. The idea was to replace them when she wasn't looking.
