Her French Bulldog had just been fixed and was in considerable amount of pain. Andrea had to pick up the pooch in Miranda's Porsche, which she had a hard time navigating with the stick-shift. Andrea dropped Madeline off at Miranda's apartment, only to be told later that Miranda wanted the dog to be brought to the office.

Andrea contracted dysentery while she and Alex were abroad. Having no choice but to return home, she recuperated at her parents' house for a few weeks. Eventually, they started driving her crazy so she crashed on Lily's couch for a few days and landed an interview at "Runway" magazine.

When she was younger, her dad read an article to her from "The New Yorker" and her mom commented how intelligently written it was. From that day, Andrea knew she wanted to be a writer and go to work for them. Andrea thought that a year working for Miranda at "Runway" was just what she needed to get her foot in the door for her dream job at "The New Yorker".

Caroline and Cassidy talked back to Cara so she gave them a "timeout" in their rooms. Miranda immediately fired her. Emily felt that Miranda was justified in her action but Andrea thought it was ridiculous, given that the children are so spoiled and Cara was just doing the right thing. Andrea was then tasked with finding a new nanny for the twins, one who drove, spoke French and of course had sophistication and style.

Every once in a while, Eduardo could tell she was in a hurry or stressed out because of Miranda and let her in with no theatrics.

Lily is very promiscuous. When out with Pierced-Tongue Boy, she dropped her pants outside of a club to entice him. Then they started getting physical right there on the street. A mother with children alerted the police. When the police tried to talk with her, she gave them the finger.

In turn, they arrested her and she spent the night in lockup. Andrea was upset, not only at her friend's behavior, but that Lily didn't call her to bail her out.

The white scarf was discontinued by Hermes and Miranda bought the entire remaining stock of them. Andrea guessed that Miranda had about two years worth of scarves left and that she wouldn't be around long enough to hear Miranda complain when the suplpy finally ran out. Miranda also did not treat them with care - she left them in cabs, in bathrooms and gave them away to folks.

She liked to wear them differently every too. She would fashion them around her neck, her waist and her wrist.

Avon is the quiet Connecticut suburb where Andrea grew up, went to high school and met Lily in the eighth grade. Moving to New York was a huge adjustment for Andrea at first because she was not familiar with her surroundings and even got lost getting to "Runway" on her first day of work.

Alex notices immediately that she is wearing couture and she admits that she feels better in her finery. To help her out a little, Jeffy the wardrobe guru gives her a bunch of designer clothing from The Closet. Andrea is overwhelmed and very grateful since the clothing he gives her probably costs more than her yearly salary.

In a strange twist of irony, Emily had been looking forward to Paris for almost a year and Andrea was thrilled that she didn't have to go. Going to Paris would mean that Andrea couldn't go to homecoming with Alex and he saw this opportunity for the two of them to take a break from seeing each other. Andrea's adventures in Paris included accepting an award on Miranda's behalf, spending an evening with Christian (the handsome author) and of course, being belittled and berated by Miranda daily.
