Answer: She died at the Cornucopia at the start of the games

The girl from District 9 did not last long in the Hunger Games, for she died on the very first day at the Cornucopia. You never find out who killed her or exactly how she died.
2. Which sentence is not a part of the lullaby that Katniss sings to Rue while she is dying?

Answer: Here the daisies keep you safe from every harm

3. Which District produces grain?

Answer: District 9

District 9 produces grains, and you find this out in the book and what a couple of districts are known for. For example, District 1 is luxuries, District 3 is factories, District 11 is agriculture and District 12 is known for coal mining.
4. What is the name of the head trainer that explains the schedules and training stations to the tributes?

Answer: More than 40 years

Katniss mentions in the book right before she goes on stage for her interview with Ceaser Flickerman that he has been hosting the Hunger Games for more than 40 years. She says that it is a bit freaky that his appearance has not changed for so long.
6. What is the cheese that Prim left for Katniss wrapped in?

Answer: Basil leaves

Prim leaves Katniss a gift of cheese from her goat, Lady. The cheese is wrapped in basil leaves, and is left under a wooden bowl to protect it from hungry rats and also cats.
7. What is/are the last word(s) that Cato says?

Answer: Please

After Katniss shoots Cato in the hand with an arrow, he falls from the Cornucopia and gets attacked by Mutts. Since he has a body armour suit on, the Mutts are attacking him all night long, until when it is bright enough, Katniss is able to see him and kill him with an arrow. Before this happens, Cato looks at Katniss and says 'Please.'
8. How many tributes died at the Cornucopia on the first day in the arena?

Answer: Eleven

After all the fighting and the blood bath at the Cornucopia, the cannon sounds eleven times, once to signify the death of each tribute. Katniss hears this while she is still on the run from the Cornucopia
9. What is the name of the Head Gamemaker?

Answer: Seneca Crane

Seneca Crane was the Head Gamemaker for the 74th annual Hunger Games. After those Games, President Snow had him murdered for allowing both Katniss and Peeta to live after they stood up to the Capitol by threatening to kill themselves with the deadly 'Nightlock' berries. Plutarch Heavensbee took his place for in the 75th Hunger Games.
10. Who kills the girl from District 8?

Answer: Peeta

The girl from District 8 is killed by Peeta. On the first night of the games, she starts a fire to warm her self then falls asleep later on. The Careers find her, and Cato stabs her but does not kill her. Peeta than goes back because he thinks she is still alive, and then when he finds out she is, he kills her himself.
