Cafe Du Monde is located at 800 Decatur. They are famous for their wonderful beignets and Chicory coffee. For you night owls, they are open all night.

The St. Louis Cathedral, which is located at the edge of Jackson Square, has been an official minor basilica since 1964. The Cathedral has three spires and is one of the most recognized buildings in New Orleans.

Marie Laveau, perhaps the most famous resident, and with one of the most visited graves in the world was the famous voodoo queen of New Orleans. If you walk by her grave on any given day you will find trinkets and gifts hanging from her crypt.

Annunciation Street is located in the Irish Channel. This section of New Orleans has had a large Irish population since about 1840. If you visit the Irish Channel you can still see double shotgun houses. Gallatin Street is located near the French Market. St. Ann and Bourbon Street are located in the French Quarter.

Lafayette No. 1 is located in the beautiful Garden District. If you go on a Rice tour in New Orleans you will most likely see the tomb of Karstendick which is rumored to be Lestat's hiding place.

Answer: St. Mary's Assumption

St. Mary's Assumption and St. Alphonsus were both mentioned in the Mayfair series. Even though the Mayfairs preferred St. Alphonsus Deirdre's funeral was held at St. Mary's and the wedding between Rowan and Michael Curry occured there due to repairs being done at St. Alphonsus. Both of the churches are located in the Irish Channel.

Answer: Ursuline Convent

The Ursuline Convent is one of the oldest buildings in the Mississippi Valley. The Ursuline Sisters came to the new world in 1727. The Ursuline Convent was constructed from 1745 to 1752 and is the only genuine French Colonial style building to have survived the fire of 1788 which destroyed most of the buildings in the French Quarter.

In the fall of 1993 the streets were covered with dirt and many scenes from the movie were filmed here. Royal Street is also the home of the Cornstalk Hotel which has a beautiful 1830's castiron fence that is comprised of ears of corn and morning glories. The only other castiron corn fence in New Orleans is located in the Garden District.

Answer: St. Elizabeth's Orphanage

St. Elizabeth's Orphanage which is owned by the Rice's is a 47,000 square foot former orphanage. Deirdre also visits St. Elizabeth's where she tells the sisters that "she is cursed" and "possessed by the devil". This building is listed on the National Register for Historic Buildings.

1239 First Street is located in the Garden District. The house is a few blocks from Magazine street which is the boundary of the Garden District and the Irish Channel.
