The Witches of Karres Trivia Quiz

Illyla's father sends Captain Pausert on a trading mission. While on his way back, he buys three slave girls because they were being abused. Unfortunately, that gets him into trouble with Councilor Onswud, Illyla's father, because buying slaves is illegal in Nikkeldepain.

The slave girls are witches of Karres. Goth's specialty is teleportation. She teleports some jewels from Wansing, who had bought Goth. This gets Pausert into even more trouble with the authorities of Nikkeldepain, even though they returned them.

The people on the planet Karres are witches. They all have different specialties. Goth can teleport things that are up to a pound in weight. The Leewit can whistle really high-pitched and break things with one of her whistles. Maleen can work the Sheewash Drive the best.

They stop to rebuild the ship and get new names because Pausert ran away from the Nikkeldepain authorities. They rename the ship the Evening Bird.

The Venture is really Councilor Onswud's ship, but Pausert used it to make his getaway from Nikkeldepain. Unfortunately that means that the Nikkeldepain authorities can find him more easily.

Pausert never really knew what happened to his great uncle until he takes the slave girls home. Then he finds out that he settled on Karres! He is the father of the Leewit, Goth, and Maleen.

The beast is actually a Sheem robot that is designed to assassinate people. Laes Yango is actually the Agandar, a modern-day space pirate. He is eventually killed by Hulik.

The vatch is a klatha creature. Vatches think humans and their doings are their dreams. So the vatch wants Pausert to help the Lyrd-Hyriers so the dream will go on!

The synergizer is what runs the Lyrd-Hyriers ship. When it disappears, Moander, a robot, takes over and takes the Lyrd-Hyriers prisoner. To save the universe from Moander, Karres tries to find the synergizer. Olimy, a Karres witch, finds it.

Answer: The Leewit

The vatch sends the Leewit via the Egger Route. Taking the Egger Route is very confusing, although no one knows why because they don't remember much of it by the time they get where they were going.
