"Twilight" Series Trivia Quiz

Stephenie Meyer said that she had a vivid dream which later became the basis for the scene between Edward and Bella in the meadow in 'Twilight'. She wrote down the dream straight away and built the rest of the story around that scene.

Though the name of the band is never mentioned in the book, Stephenie Meyer identifies them on her website, www.stepheniemeyer.com. She says the reason she didn't specifically name them in the book was for fear that it would not be published promptly and the band would have gone out of fashion.

Bella is determined to sulk her way home, but is so surprised by hearing one of her mother's favourite pieces that it jerks her out of her silence.

It is described by Bella as being deep blue. The dress was chosen by Alice, and is the deep shade of blue that Edward so loves with Bella's skin.

Edward goes to South America to try and track Victoria, but she gives him the slip and he is at a dead end when he receives the news of Bella's supposed death.

Alice and Bella travel there after Edward to stop him committing suicide when he thinks Bella is dead. They come in the middle of St. Marcus Day. According to local legend, St. Marcus drove all the vampires out of northern Italy. In fact, Marcus is a vampire, one of the original three members of the Volturi.

Bella meets Laurent in the meadow near Forks, the meadow where she and Edward went in 'Twilight' where she first saw him in the sun. He [Laurent] is going to kill Bella as a favour to Victoria, but he is interrupted by the werewolf pack who chase him down and kill him.

Irina wanted the Cullen's permission to wipe out the pack in revenge for the werewolves killing of Laurent. 'Breaking Dawn' was published in 2008 as the fourth book in this hugely popular series. 'Forever Dawn' was the name of a 600-page sequel that Stephenie Meyer wrote to 'Twilight' which is not (and never will be) published. Instead, she gave it to her sister as a birthday present! 'The Host' is the name of another Stephenie Meyer book which is completely unconnected to the 'Twilight' series, and 'Midnight Sun' is a companion piece (abandoned in 2008, but eventually published in 2020) to the series presenting the events of 'Twilight' from Edward's point of view.
