Ellison achieved fame for his book "Kentucky Blood". He had written several books, but none were as successful as this book. In one scene, we saw him watching one of his taped interviews about "Kentucky Blood". He was desperate to achieve that same success and notoriety again.

The Oswalt family had just moved into their new home. Ellison and Tracy were unpacking boxes. Ellison called out for his daughter, Ashley, to help unload the truck. Ellison found his daughter painting in her new room. Ashely was painting a girl holding a balloon on her bedroom wall. Ellsion stood back and admired his daughter's work.

He told Ashley she was only allowed to paint in her room. The two then left together to go unload the rest of the family's belongings from the truck.

The Sheriff of the town pulled up in his squad car to speak to the Oswalt family. On the side of his cruiser was the name of the state of Pennsylvania. The Sheriff did not like Ellison because of his profession. Ellison had pointed out a great many mistakes made by law enforcement in his books. Later on, we saw Ellison viewing the missing person's poster of Stephanie Stevenson.

The poster said Stephanie was missing from Chatford, Pennsylvania. Stephanie and her family were the subject of Ellison's new book.

Answer: Night terrors

Ellison heard a noise in the house late one night. He went to investigate the noise and found his son. His son was screaming like he was in serious pain. Ellison quickly picked up his son as his wife Tracy came running. Ellison carried Trevor outside and woke him up. Trevor asked his dad why they were outside. Trevor had suffered from night terrors when he was younger.

He had not experienced them for a long time, but had one the first night in their new home. On one occasion they had found Trevor urinating in the dryer.

The family all made a joke about this at Trevor's expense.

Answer: Jonas

Ellison had developed a friendship with a deputy in the town he now lived in. He called him Deputy So and So, the deputy's real name is never revealed. Ellison is telling the deputy about his concerns involved around the murder of the families. The deputy referred Ellison to Professor Jonas who was studied in the occult. Ellison had sent Jonas several pictures of the identified demon at several different murder scenes. Jonas informed Ellison that the deity, Bughuul, fed all the souls of children over a long period of time.

Vincent D'Onofrio played the role of Professor Jonas. Vincent D'Onofrio has also appeared in "The Cell" with Jennifer Lopez.

Answer: Scorpion

Ellison was taking a crate into the attic of his new home to store it. He saw a very large scorpion and dropped the crate on it. Ellison picked up the crate and the scorpion was flattened. He noticed a box in the attic; it was the only thing in the entire attic. It contained a projector and several films. Ellison reviewed the contents of the box and took it down to his office.

Answer: They were hung from a tree limb.

The Stevenson family was shown in one of the home movies Ellison watched. Earlier in the film, they were shown having a good time outdoors. The film later showed the family strung to a tree with rope. They all had nooses placed around their necks and bags on their heads.

The nooses were wrapped around one stationary branch. The other end of the rope was tied to another branch. We saw the other branch being cut with a pruning saw. As the branch was cut it fell, causing the family to be raised in the air.

When the branch was fully cut it raised the family fully in the air and they were hung. It was not known at first who was cutting the branch. They were hidden behind the tree while cutting the branch. It was later revealed to be the Stevenson daughter; Stephanie was the one using the saw.

Answer: Rottweiler

Ellison had seen what he thought was someone in his backyard bushes. He thought it was the demon, Bughuul. He shined the flashlight in the bushes in his backyard. He saw a face in the bushes; it turned out to be his son, Trevor. He dropped the flashlight and bat he was carrying to pick up Trevor.

He rushed Trevor into the house. He went back outside to get the bat and flashlight. The Rottweiler was standing there and growling at Ellison. Ellison tried to slowly move towards the bat to defend himself if the dog attacked.

In the background stood the victims of Bughuul. The dog saw the children and ran off. Ellison turned around to see what spooked the dog and the children had disappeared.

Answer: Pool Party '66

Ellison had watched several of the home movies that he found in the attic. It was not until he watched the pool one that he first noticed Bughuul. He watched as the family was pulled into the water with a rope. They were all bound to the lounge chairs.

He noticed Bughuul walking towards the victims. Bughuul was fully underwater as he walked towards the victims. Ellison soon found the image of Bughuul in the rest off the films.

Answer: Ashley used an axe to kill her family.

Ellison and his family had just returned to their home from Pennsylvania. Ellison burned the projector and the films from his new home before the family left. Ellison thought he was safe from danger. He was taking things up to his attic when he saw the box from the previous house in his attic.

The box had the films and projector inside of it. The films now said extended cuts on the cases. Ellison watched the films and it was revealed the children were behind the murders of their families. Ellison had drunk from a coffee mug on his desk; his daughter had placed it there.

The coffee was drugged and Ellison soon collapsed. When he woke up, he was tied up as was his family. His daughter came over to him with an axe. She told him she would make him famous again. Ashley then killed her family.
