Anna Paquin was one of the youngest Oscar winners. She was only ten years old when she won for her role as Flora McGrath in "The Piano". This was a film about a mother (Holly Hunter) and her daughter (Paquin) who moved to New Zealand in the 1850s with their prized piano. The mother had entered an arrangement to be married to a rich landowner.

Answer: Forrest Gump

It won best visual effects along with five other Oscars. "Forrest Gump" was about a man named Forrest (Tom Hanks) with an IQ of 75. While he might not have been the brightest, he faced the many challenges of life, charming everyone he met. The stunning visual effects that were shown in this film included the majestic flow of the feather that represented his life moving from one challenge to another.

Another example of the visual effects was the realistic battle scene where Forrest was fighting in Vietnam.

It was Morgan's first Oscar win.
