Tony first meets the Ambassador in front of the Canadian Embassy. The Ambassador confesses to Tony that he was expecting more of a G-man look, because Tony has a beard, shirt with no tie, and jeans. Tony suggests the Ambassador is thinking of the FBI.

The two men get into a car, and the Ambassador immediately hands Tony six Canadian passports. As Tony thumbs through one, you can see they are blank, except for the pictures. The Ambassador tells Tony they are no stamps. Tony tells the Ambassador that he will take care of it.

Answer: They wanted his thoughts on their rescue plan.

While walking to the State Department briefing with his boss Jack, Tony is told that the State Department is going to handle the exfiltration themselves. Jack mentions to Tony that the State Department wants to run their ideas by the CIA's top exfil specialist.

After Tony gets the OK to pursue his rescue plan, called the Hollywood Option, he places a phone call to Southern California. The man he is calling, John Chambers, is told he has a phone call from a Kevin Harkins. When John picks up the phone he says, "Hey Tony." Everywhere Tony goes in Hollywood, he is called Kevin Harkins, and even has a business card made up.

Tony and his son are talking on the phone. Tony asks his son what movie he was watching. The son tells Tony "Battle for the Planet of the Apes", and tells him the channel so they both can watch it while they talk. You see Tony's face change expression as he watches the movie.

The State Department's plan calls for the six house guests to ride about 300 miles to the border having only bicycles, maps, and no other support. Tony realizes the futility of this idea, and tells the assembled men in the room that they could just send in training wheels and meet them at the border with Gatorade. Tony further explains that waiting until spring is risky, and that a 300 mile bike ride would require a support team.

When they all arrive at the airport, Tony is checking them in for the flight. He tells the customer service clerk that they have reservations for Zurich. The tickets eventually print, and we see that it is Swiss Air, flight to Zurich.

Answer: Birthday

Tony tries to call his son from the airport, but nobody answers. As Tony is writing a post card to his son, he writes that he is sorry he will miss his birthday.

After busting Tony's chops about the CIA's bad intelligence on the situation in Iran the colleague briefs Tony on new airport procedures in Tehran. He then suggests after he lands his first stop should be the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to "kiss the ring".

Answer: A rescue operation for the US Embassy was being planned.

The evening before Tony is to take the six out through the airport, he gets a call from his boss Jack. Jack informs Tony that the game has changed, and that the Joint Chiefs were planning a rescue operation to recover all of the hostages in the US Embassy. Jack also says the thinking has changed, and the six should return to the Embassy to join the others.

This news enrages Tony, and he pleads with Jack to allow the mission to continue. His protests are heard, but he still is ordered to abandon the mission.

The Canadian Ambassador suggests Tony not even show up the next day. After a sleepless night, Tony calls Jack and informs him that he is taking the six house guests through the airport, disobeying a direct order.

As Tony is cleaning out his briefcase, he pauses when he sees a story board. He looks up to see that the storeroom clerk is looking away, and Tony decides to keep the board. The next time we see it is when the camera is panning the toy shelf in his son's room.
