Truly has a very nice yellow car. She had no trouble getting the car out of the pond in this instance, later in the movie she can't. The Ford Motor Company provided the vehicles used in this movie.

The candy had holes in it, apparently the sugar was cooked at too high a temperature (according to Truly). Caractacus thought it was a waste until his dog caused it to whistle. Toot Sweets were born! Too bad the high pitch called to every dog in the neighborhood! Later he would sell them to Scrumptious as Woof Sweets for dogs.

He had told Scrumptious' secretary that their name was Whistling Sweets.
