Answer: fate of the world

This is shown on the screen right before the movie starts. It is just white letters on a black screen. It also says The Spear of Destiny has been missing since the end of World War II.

Answer: Mexico

The first scene in the movie shows the two men in a desert area. When one of the men runs off with the Spear of Destiny the other man calls after him, but is not speaking in english. It also says the word "Mexico" on the bottom of the screen.

Answer: Nazi flag

While still in Mexico you see two men picking through things on the ground. One of the men moves his position and his foot breaks through the ground. When the man puts his hand in the hole he pulls something out and it turns out to be the "Spear of Destiny", wrapped in a flag with a swastika on it.

Answer: Los Angeles

After the man in Mexico takes off with the Spear of Destiny, the next scene shows a window in someone's kitchen. You can see tall buildings that suggest it is a big city. They also put the words "Los Angeles" at the bottom of the screen. This is where the rest of the movie is set.

Answer: Isabel

Isabel ends up jumping off the top of the hospital building and killing herself. She just can't handle everything she sees and having no one believe her, especially her own twin sister. Her sister used to see the same things but lies about it so everyone thinks that Isabel is crazy.

We find this out when you see Constantine in the hospital and they show the x-ray of his lungs. Constantine says "Now I'm going to be done in by this" and holds up a cigarette. The doctor says there is nothing she can do and Constantine needs to prepare.

To get into Midnite's bar the doorman holds up a card with the back facing you and you have to tell him what is on the side of the card that you can't see. This happens right after the part where Constantine is attacked by a demon in the middle of the street. This is the demon made up of all different kinds of bugs.

You see this numerous, different times in the movie. Every time we see Balthazar he has a coin moving across his knuckles. The coin is not from present day, I would have to assume it is some sort of antique coin.

Constantine says "Cats are good, half in, half out anyway". He puts his feet into the pan of water then stares into the cats eyes. Then he finds himself wandering around Hell looking for Isabel.

The cards are just rectangular shaped with a picture on one side. The guy at the door lies and tells him he is wrong about what is on the card and Constantine punches him on his way into the bar. For some reason Midnite does not want to help Constantine so he is trying to keep him out of his bar.

Gabriel uses the excuse that he is helping mankind become worthy of God's love by bringing Hell to Earth. If he helps the Son of the Devil bring Hell to Earth, the people of Earth will have to work harder to resist temptation.

Constantine sacrifices himself to bring Isabel's soul from Hell into Heaven and self sacrifice automatically gets you into Heaven. Lucifer is seriously angry when he realizes he won't get to take Constantine to Hell.

This is when he is on the roof with Angela and gives her the Spear of Destiny to keep safe. He puts a piece of gum in his mouth because he finally quit smoking when Lucifer cured his lung cancer.

Answer: Father Hennessy

Father Hennessy helps Constantine with his search to help rid mankind of demons and such. He also has a bit of a drinking problem; Balthazar is the one who makes Father Hennessy drown himself in alcohol.

Answer: Beeman

Beeman seems to be some sort of historian. At the beginning of the movie he brings Constantine items that help to destroy demons. It is also mentioned that Beeman likes bugs. Balthazar kills Beeman when he finds out he is helping Constantine. Constantine finds him dead at his table, covered in bugs.
