Jan picked Gordon up from the bus stop and took him back to his shop. The next morning, the grinding of sharpening skates woke Gordon with a start. Charlie and Gordon reunite with a hug, and have breakfast together with Jan.

Conway finds Jesse Hall playing street hockey, and the two travel on rollerblades to find Averman, who is working as a ticket taker at the local movie theater. After picking up Averman, the three arrive at Goldberg's Delicatessen. The Goldberg's have pictures of Greg in their deli, showing how proud they are of his accomplishments, the first time Coach Bombay and the Mighty Ducks competed on the ice.

Luis Mendoza shows off his blazing speed on the ice, but also shows his main weakness at the end, when he fails to stop until he skates into the boards. Dwayne Robertson is an excellent puck handler; in fact, Don Tibbles tells Bombay, "He's the best puck handler I've ever seen." When Bombay asks Tibbles, "You mean for his age," Tibbles replies, "No, I don't." Dean Portman is an enforcer, using his strength against the opposing teams, pairing well with the Ducks Fulton Reed. Julie "The Cat" Gaffney becomes the backup goalie behind Goldberg, showing off her cat-like reflexes to save shot after shot from the Ducks, not allowing anything past her.

Robertson comes to the Ducks from Texas, and is therefore, good with rope. Bombay tells him, "Round me up some stray cattle there!" Dwayne replies, "My pleasure!" It's not shown who wins as the last player standing, but it sure looked like the team followed Coach Bombay's idea that hockey should be fun. It also helps the team build their chemistry together.

Neely, Chelios, and Robitaille appear at the party in Los Angeles that Coach Bombay attends with dozens of other athletes. He is introduced to the three by Don Tibbles. Tibbles makes sure that, as the coach of Team USA, and a representative of Hendrix Hockey, Bombay is introduced and connected with many high profile people.

All five USA players form a 'V' formation on the ice, with Jesse Hall at the front, or the point of the 'V'. Two players on either side and behind Hall finish the formation. The players pass the puck from player to player, confusing the opposing defense.

During the training montage after Coach Bombay promises to focus on keeping things fun for his players, there is a newspaper article with Portman and Fulton on the front page, indicating the teams win against Canada. Underneath the article about their win, there is a smaller article headlined "Iceland Upset by Russians; now tied with USA." Russia's upset of Iceland set up the championship match-up between Team USA and Iceland.

Marria and Coach Bombay went out for ice cream and were seen by Fulton Reed and Dean Portman. They confronted him in front of the rest of the team in the locker room after the Iceland game where Bombay and his team were thrashed 12-1. Coach Bombay tells his team that they quit, and Portman and Reed counter, by questioning him about his evening with the Iceland trainer.

Hall, Germaine, and Reed all score for the USA Ducks, with Robertson's shot being saved by the Iceland goalie. The final goal is scored by Adam Banks, with Julie Gaffney saving the final shot by Iceland's Gunnar Stahl to seal the win for the Ducks.

The team is gathered around a campfire, and begin singing the "Queen" classic. The team's singing fades into the credits, where the "Queen" version of the song picks up.
