Caine has an impressive total of six Oscar nominations, with two wins. He has won the Best Supporting Oscar in 1987 for his work in "Hannah and Her Sisters" and then again 13 years later for his work is "The Cider House Rules". In addition to these nominations, Caine has four nominations for Best Actor for his work in "Alfie" (1967), "Sleuth" (1973), "Educating Rita" (1984), and "The Quiet American" (2003).

Unfortunately, none of these nominations resulted in wins.

Answer: Austin Powers in Goldmember

Caine has comedic roles in all these movie, but only in "Austin Powers in Goldmember" is he teamed up with Spacey and Paltrow. Caine had a major role as Nigel Powers, Austin's father. Spacey and Paltrow both had cameo appearances at the beginning of the film, playing characters in a film based on Austin's life.

Answer: Glengarry Glen Ross

"Glengarry Glen Ross" was an excellent movie, centering around a real estate office that is having a sales contest to determine who wins the top prize and who gets fired. The terrific cast also included fellow Oscar winners Al Pacino and Alan Arkin. Spacey won a Best Supporting Oscar for "The Usual Suspects" and a Best Actor Oscar for "American Beauty". Lemmon won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for "Mister Roberts" and the Best Actor for "Save the Tiger".

Answer: The Apartment

"The Apartment" won five Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director for Billy Wilder. Lemmon and MacLaine were both nominated for acting Oscars but came home empty-handed at that year's ceremony.

Answer: Terms of Endearment

John Lithgow and Debra Winger also received Oscar nominations for their work in this film, which went on to win the Best Picture Oscar. Maclaine plays Winger's mother and must come to terms with her relationship with her daughter and her daughter's cancer. Nicholson won two additional Oscars in the 20th century and each time Nicholson won as Oscar, his female lead also won.

His first win was in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" with Louise Fletcher and his last win was for "As Good As It Gets" with Helen Hunt.

Answer: Anger Management

Nicholson teamed up with Adam Sandler to help Sandler overcome some repressed anger. Tomei was Sandler's long suffering girlfriend, who was driven crazy by Sandler's unhappiness with his life and inability to commit. Rudy Giuliani, Roger Clemens, and Derek Jeter had cameo appearances in the movie as well.

Answer: In the Bedroom

Tomei's three nominations were all for Best Supporting Actress Oscars. She won for her work in "My Cousin Vinny" and had additional nominations for "In the Bedroom" and "The Wrestler". Spacek received her sixth nomination for "In the Bedroom" which also received a nomination for Tom Wilkinson.

Spacek and Steenburgen were joined by fellow Oscar winners Jon Voight, Robert Duvall, and Reese Witherspoon. The films centered on Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn as a dating couple who were forced to spend Christmas with each of their divorced parents when their vacation plans were canceled. Spacek, Steenburgen, Voight, and Duvall played their parents.

Answer: The Brave One

Steenburgen won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in "Melvin and Howard". In 2007 she appeared in the action film "The Brave One", alongside Jodie Foster. In the film Foster set out to avenge the death of her fiance, after they were both attacked, leaving her fiance dead while Foster survived. Foster had previously won Best Actress Oscars for her roles in "The Accused" and "The Silence of the Lambs".

Answer: Panic Room

Whitaker played a criminal who broke into Foster's house in a robbery attempt that backfired when Foster locked herself in a panic room. This sealed the criminals off from her, her daughter, and the three million dollars worth of bonds the criminals were trying to steal. Whitaker received his Best Actor Oscar for playing Idi Amin in "The Last King of Scotland".
