His late grandfather, Carmine Coppola, was a composer who won an Oscar for his contributions to the musical scores for the "Godfather" trilogy. Cage is the nephew of director Francis Ford Coppola and actress Talia Shire.

Eric Stoltz was born in California in 1961. He played the bathrobe-wearing drug-dealer, who helped John Travolta revive Uma Thurman from a heroin overdose in "Pulp Fiction". He's also appeared in "Jerry Maguire" (1996) and "The Rules of Attraction" (2002). In "Mask", probably his best-known role, Stoltz played a young man disfigured by a rare bone condition sometimes called lionitis. Stoltz wore latex foam masks and dentures to simulate his character's facial deformity.
