Released in 1986, 'Big Trouble in Little China' is all about an average joe (played by Kurt Russell) and his lady friend (Cattrall) get tangled up in a big mess after a woman is kidnapped by a sorcerer called Lo Pan. Sound convoluted? Well sure it is! But it's still a cute film and worth a watch.

Answer: Brazil

One of Gilliam's masterpieces, 'Brazil' was released in 1985 and featured Jonathan Pryce, Robert De Niro and Katherine Helmond, among other talents. The film is a futuristic fantasy tale of an average officer working stiff who somehow becomes implicated in some terrorist activities. The film holds up very well with age...a must see!

Answer: Egypt

'The Prince of Egypt' follows the very familiar story of Moses (voiced by Kilmer) who leads his people out of Egypt. Pretty heady stuff for a cartoon. Other voices featured: Ralph Fiennes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jeff Goldblum, Danny Glover, Helen Mirren, Steve Martin and Martin Short...quite a cast!

Answer: Mexico

Sergio Leone was famous for the films 'Once Upon a Time in the West' and 'Once Upon a Time in America'. In a tribute to the great Italian director, Rodriguez entitled his film 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico'. The film, a further installment in the 'El Mariachi' series, follows the story of a lone gunman who is hired to kill a Mexican general.

It features Antonio Banderas, Johnny Depp, Willem Dafoe and Salma Hayek, among others.

Answer: A Passage to India

'A Passage to India' features the story of a young Englishwoman, played by Judy Davis, who visits late colonial India. The film is an allegory about the colonial relationship between India and the U.K. Also in the film, Alec Guiness and Victor Banerjee. Not a bad one for Mr. Lean to have finished his career on.

Answer: Russia

The 1963 film 'From Russia with Love' was Sean Connery's second James Bond role, the first being in the 1962 film 'Dr. No'. Connery's co-stars in the film include Daniela Bianchi as Tatiana Romanov and Robert Shaw as Donald 'Red' Grant. The plot revolves around a Russian encryption machine that Bond is attempting to get a hold of at any cost.

Answer: Tibet

Brad Pitt is Heinrich Harrer, a mountain climber from Austria who befriends the Dalai Lama during his stay in Tibet, where he intends to climb Mt. Nanga Parbat. The film also features great character actors such as Mako and Victor Wong. Lots of Tibetans are used in minor roles in the film, helping to add a hint of authenticity.

Answer: Vietnam

The film here is called 'Good Morning Vietnam', probably the only comedic film made about the war. Directed by Barry Levinson, the film features Robin Williams as Adrian Cronauer, a disc jockey for Armed Services Radio who decides to liven things up with his comedic stylings. The film also features good performances from Forest Whitaker, Bruno Kirby and J. T. Walsh.

Answer: Jamaica

In 1939, Hitchcock directed the adventure drama called 'Jamaica Inn', a tale of a girl who arrives at a Cornish inn (that shares its name with the film's title) owned by her auntie and uncle only to find that the place is being used as a base by a bunch of dastardly pirates. Like some of Hitchcock's other films, 'Jamaica Inn' was based on a novel written by Daphne Du Maurier.

Answer: Morocco

In 1942, Hope and Crosby made their way on the 'Road to Morocco' as Jeff and Turkey, two castaways that find themselves thrust into a wacky situation in a desert oasis city. Wacky hijinks, naturally, follow. Hope and Crosby also starred together in a film called 'Road to Singapore', and met as well in other exotic locales within that film series.
