Answer: Camp Hope

Camp Hope is a weight loss camp for young men. At first Gerald doesn't like the idea of spending the summer there, but that changes as the movie progresses. At the beginning of the movie, the camp is owned by Harvey and Alice Bushkin, but that changes not far into the movie when it is bought out by a fitness guru.

The Chipmunk Cabin, according to some of the other campers, is the "coolest" cabin in all of Camp Hope. This is where Gerald meets some friends he will spend the summer with, including Josh, Phillip, Nicholas, Cody, and some others. Even though Camp Hope is a weight loss camp, the campers sneak in quite a bit of junk food that they hide within their cabin.

Tony shows up at Camp Hope the first night that Gerald is there and reveals his true intentions for the campers - to make their weight loss over the summer into an infomercial, by means of "The Perkisystem". This is very unpopular with the campers and original staff. Tony also goes through the cabins and confiscates the food that the campers snuck in to the camp.

Lars takes over for Pat Finley as the counselor of the Chipmunk Cabin, much to Pat's dismay. Lars is a physically fit man with a European accent. We never find out exactly where he is from, because when the campers laugh at his name and ask him where he is from, he only says "Far away" in an intimidating fashion.

Tony tells the campers how when he was a child he had bad skin and low self-esteem, and was overweight. But he then says, "Now I eat success for breakfast... with skim milk." Tony's father's name is Tony Perkis Sr., and is known as "The Lighting Fixture King of Western Pennsylvania". Both characters are played by Ben Stiller.

The campers, without Tony's knowledge, had been getting junk food smuggled into the camp for them by one of the counselors. They first find out how to do this when they catch Phillip in a bathroom stall eating a hamburger. So they started leaving money, that they inexplicably acquired, in a hollow stump in the forest where the counselor leaves the food in exchange for the money.

They salute him and call him "Captain" because he has a pair of pilot's wings pinned to his shirt when he enters the cabin. He has the pilot's wings pin because the flight attendant on his plane pinned them to him because she thought he looked sad.

Camp MVP is an athletic camp that shares the lake with Camp Hope. The campers at Camp MVP are cruel, immature jocks that are always making fun of and embarrassing the campers from Camp Hope whenever they meet up. They even vandalize Camp Hope at night. At the end of the movie, Camp Hope finally beats Camp MVP in the Apache Relay for the first time.

Answer: Nurse Julie

Nurse Julie is the object of affection for both Pat Finley and Lars. However, as shown in the movie, Nurse Julie doesn't care for Lars and his attitude. Nurse Julie is on the campers' side when they end up capturing Tony and taking over Camp Hope. Near the end of the movie, Nurse Julie and Pat end up together.

They tie Lars to a large tree in the forest and rub honey all over his chest. They let him believe that there are bears in that particular forest when there really are not, which scares Lars. When they start to walk back to camp, they hear Lars scream. They run back to him only to find a deer licking the honey off of him.
