I listed four movies Tom Savini appeared in, but the time he played a garbage man was in "Creepshow". The comic book stories involved an old man who rose from the dead, a man who got space goop on him, a man who got attacked by the zombies of people he murdered, a man who used a monster to kill his wife, and an old man who got attacked by roaches.

At the end of the movie, after the stories in the comic book were shown, two garbage men found the comic book in the street and the other garbage man told Tom Savini that he wanted to send for a voodoo doll, but the coupon was already cut out.

Then the boy inside the house, who was angry at his father for throwing away the comic book, stuck pins in a voodoo doll and his father screamed in pain.

Answer: Silent Night Deadly Night

"Silent Night Deadly Night" (1984) began when little Billy and his parents went to visit his senile grandpa in the old folks home. When his parents were out of the room, the old man told Billy to be careful at Christmas time because Santa Claus punished people who were naughty.

When they were on the road, Billy's parents stopped to help a criminal whose car broke down. He was dressed as Santa Claus. "Santa" murdered the boy's parents, and Billy and his baby brother were sent to an orphanage. Years later at Christmas time, Billy got moody and punched Santa in the face, because he thought Santa had killed his parents.

After he grew up, he worked at a toy store, and the manager told Billy to dress as Santa for the Christmas party. When "Santa" Billy decided people were "naughty", he started killing on Christmas Eve.

Answer: Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man

After the first Dr. Frankenstein (Colin Clive) and his two sons were no longer involved in the story, the granddaughter (Ilona Massey) of the first Dr. Frankenstein went on a date with Larry Talbot (Lon Chaney Jr), the wolf man. Of course, the movie involved the resurrected wolf man eventually finding Frankenstein's monster. Later, they both broke loose from an experiment and fought each other.

Answer: Night of the Ghouls

In this movie directed by Ed Wood, "Night of the Ghouls" (1959), a psychic named Dr. Acula conned old people out of money while claiming to talk to their dead relatives. However, he didn't know that ghouls (today we might call them "zombies") were roaming around killing people in the nearby park. Eventually, the ghouls attacked Dr. Acula.

Answer: The Wolf Man

In the first movie about "The Wolf Man", Larry Talbot (Lon Chaney Jr) was messing around with a telescope when he saw inside the bedroom of the daughter (Evelyn Ankers) of the shopkeeper across the street. He used his knowledge of her bedroom to tell her things so he could pretend to be psychic.

This led to their date at the carnival when they met the gypsy (Bela Lugosi) who turned into a wolf and attacked a female friend. He also attacked Larry, cursing Larry to become a wolf man when the moon was full.

Answer: Son of Frankenstein

In "Son of Frankenstein" Ygor (Bela Lugosi) and Frankenstein's monster (Boris Karloff) snuck in and out of different rooms of the house where Wolf Frankenstein (Basil Rathbone) lived with his family. At some point Thomas Benson (Edgar Norton), the butler, got killed by Frankenstein's monster, who gave Benson's watch to Peter Frankenstein, the little boy.

When the boy mentioned getting the watch from a giant who came out of the wall, Inspector Krogh (Lionel Atwill) started to suspect what was going on.

Answer: Puppet Master (1989)

There was a man in the "Hellraiser" movies from "spirit" land named "Pinhead" because he had a bunch of pins stuck all over his head. (The credits didn't list him as "Pinhead" until the second movie, "Hellbound: Hellraiser II".) There was also a movie called "Puppet Master" which featured murderous puppets which came to life. One of them had large arms but a tiny skull, so he was called "Pinhead". (The background story involved a man who learned the ancient Egyptian way of putting spirits into dolls to bring them to life, and the Nazis tried to find out how to do this, but killed the Puppet Master's wife along the way.)

Answer: Empire of the Ants

Joan Collins' character was trying to sell real estate in the wilds of Florida in "Empire of the Ants", loosely based on an H.G. Wells short story. When the customers got to the place, giant ants had moved in. The ants killed some of the customers. Later, when the customers and Joan Collins' character got to town, they found out the townspeople had already been possessed by the giant ants. Joan Collins' character was taken to the ant queen, which spat on her.

Answer: Godzilla

In the first "Godzilla" movie, scenes were added in the English-language version which featured Raymond Burr playing the part of reporter Steve Martin, who narrated the damage done to Tokyo by the giant T-Rex/lizard monster we call Godzilla. This was the movie which began the never-ending series of monster movies about the animal who was mutated from radiation, grew to giant proportions and tore up the city of Tokyo, Japan.

Some of the footage used for the movie showed the damage done to Japan by atomic bombs during World War II. Steve Martin happened to be in Japan reporting on something when the attack happened.

The Japanese name for the movie was "Gojira". (Of course, Raymond Burr was famous for playing as Perry Mason and Ironside on television.)

Answer: Black Friday

In an early treatment of the type of story used for "Donovan's Brain" and "J.D.'s Revenge", Stanley Ridges played as Professor Kingsley, who was run down while crossing the street. Dr. Ernest Sovac (Boris Karloff) put part of a gangster's brain into the professor to help him recover. Professor Kingsley started acting like the gangster, and Eric Marnay (Bela Lugosi), another gangster, followed Kingsley to find $500,000.00 hidden somewhere.
