Answer: My Fair Lady

"My Fair Lady," released in 1964, is about a man who bets his friend he can make a poor woman he meets in the street pass for a lady at a ball. It starred Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison and won many awards. Some other famous songs include: "Wouldn't It Be Loverly," "I Could Have Danced All Night," and "Just You Wait."

Answer: West Side Story

"West Side Story" was released in 1961, and starred Natalie Wood and Richard Beymer. It was a modern day version of "Romeo and Juliet" and was about two young people who fall in love, but they're from two different groups, and the groups are fighting. Some other songs include: "Gee Officer Krupke," "I Feel Pretty," and "One Hand, One Heart."

Answer: Oliver!

Oliver! was released in 1968, and was based on Charles Dickens "Oliver Twist." It starred Mark Lester as Oliver and was about an orphan boy who finds a home on the street with a gang of thieves. Some other songs include: "Boy for Sale," "You've got to Pick a Pocket or Two," and "Who Will Buy?"

One of my favorite musicals ever! "Singin' in the Rain, " released in 1953 starred Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds, and was about a silent film star who starts making "talking pictures" with his snide female co-star. Some other song included "Make Em' Laugh," Dream of You," and "Til' There Was You."

Another one of my favorite musicals! "White Christmas" was released in 1942, and starred Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. It was about two men who served in World War two, and later became an act along with two ladies they fall in love with. Some other songs include: "Snow," "Gee, I Wish I Was Back in the Army," and "Love, you Didn't Do Right By me."

Answer: Annie

"Annie," released in 1981, starred Carol Burnett and Tim Curry (some of my favorite actors!). It was about an orphan girl who lives with a billionaire for a few days during the Great Depression. Some other great songs are: "Tomorrow," "Maybe," and "It's the Hard Knock Life."

Answer: Les Miserables

"Les Miserables" has been done so many times, I chose the 1935 one. It starred Fredrich March, and Florence Eldridge. It was about a man who was considered a criminal, and got released. He became a very rich man, and raised a child for a woman when she died. Some other songs include: "Castle on a Cloud," "Come to Me," and "At the End of the Day."

"The Music Man" was first released in 1962 and starred Robert Preston and Shirley Jones. It was about a cheap music seller who was going to rip off Rivercity, Iowa but ends up falling in love. Some other great songs are: "Pick a Little, Talk A Little," "Shipoopi," and "Goodnight, my Someone."

I saved the best for last! "The Sound of Music" is my favorite musical of all time! It was released in 1965, and was about a woman who wants to become a nun but works as a governess. She befriends the children and falls in love with the children's father who is a widower.

It starred Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. Some other great songs include are: "Maria," "I Have Confidence," "The Lonely Goatherd" and many more.
