This movie was based upon a book by the same name. The first meeting between John Dunbar and the Lakota Sioux was when Kicking Bird, the tribe's Holy man, attempted to capture Cisco, John's horse. When John reappeared, he was prevented from taking Cisco. The story continued with John meeting more of the tribe as they continued to try to capture Cisco. John decided to find their camp.

The first person he encountered was a white woman, Stands With A Fist, who came to live with the Sioux after her family were murdered by the Pawnee.

As John learned more about the Sioux, he decided to remain with them. One day he is mistaken for a Sioux by the military. The military shoot at him but hit and kill Cisco instead. Once they realized who John was, he was arrested as a traitor.

A group of prostitutes offered a $1,000 reward to the person who killed the men who disfigured one of them. William Munny and Ned Logan arrived in the town where the two cowboys disfigured the prostitute, only to discover it is run by a sheriff who prohibited guns.
The sheriff disarmed Munny and kicked him out of the saloon. Logan escaped out of a window when he realized the law was after them. Munny and Logan regrouped with the Kid (the man who recruited them) and headed out of town to find the cowboys. The cowboys were found and killed.

Oskar did his best to remain favorable to the Nazis as he continued to offer them bribes. When Forrest saved Lieutenant Dan, Lieutenant Dan resented him, as he felt he should have died in battle instead of being crippled for the rest of his life. William Wallace and his true love, Murron, married in secret in order to avoid the English Lord from being the man to take Murron's virginity, as was legal during that time. One day an English soldier grabbed Murron and as he held her down, he licked her ears and attempted to have his way with her. Murron slapped the soldier and was rescued by Wallace.

The village sheriff captured Murron and slit her throat declaring that her slapping the soldier was the same as slapping the King himself. Wallace and his fellow villagers slaughtered the English soldiers. Wallace slit the throat of the sheriff on the same post and with the same knife with which his wife was killed.

A revolt began.

Between the pressure from her mother to marry Cal Hockley and the controlling attitude of Cal, Rose decided her life was over. When Jack saved Rose, Cal and others were convinced Jack was trying to rape Rose. Rose told them she slipped while attempting to look at part of the ship and Jack saved her from falling overboard. As Rose and Jack spent more time together, they became lovers.
The story continued as the Titanic struck an iceberg and began to sink. Jack and Cal both wanted Rose to survive. Cal lied to Rose and Jack by telling them he had a plan for he and Jack to survive. Cal knew this was the only way Rose would be willing to get into the lifeboat. After Rose was placed in the lifeboat, Cal informed Jack there was no room for him in the lifeboat. Meanwhile, Rose returned to the ship. She realized she could not leave Jack.
Jack and Rose were washed into the ocean. They held onto a door which, unfortunately, could only support one person. Jack remained in the icy water. He died before they were rescued.

Romeo and Juliet were star crossed lovers. It was the same for Shakespeare and Viola de Lesseps. Shakespeare was married and Viola was betrothed to a poor aristocrat.
When it was discovered that Viola played the female role, attempts were made to have the play closed and those involved arrested for indecency. Luckily, Queen Elizabeth I was attending the play, also in disguise, and she advised all that a young man was playing the female role.
Sadly, Viola's betrothal was carried out and she was forced to move to Virginia with her husband. She and Shakespeare never saw each other again.

Lester's wife, Carolyn, was discovered to be having an affair with a business rival. When Lester was told he was to be laid off from his job, he blackmailed his boss and quit.
Unfortunately, this movie ended with the death of Lester. He did die happy.
