We never see Joe at this job. His doctor discusses it with him as the reason for his hypochondria. Samuel Graynamore also brings it up, calling Joe a hero.

2. When Joe and DeDe are having dinner, Joe bribes the band to play a song that will drive them insane and make their hearts swell and burst. What song do the musicians play (in Spanish)?

Answer: On the Street Where You Live

It's hard to hear Joe's offscreen dialogue, but if you listen carefully, you can hear him giving the band five dollars to play the song. It's not clear whether Joe requests this song specifically or if the band chooses it on their own, but it seems to work on DeDe. The English version of the song is, of course, from 'My Fair Lady'.
