Elizabeth is a doctor who is very dedicated to her job. She is injured very badly in a car accident, leaving her in a coma for the majority of the movie. Reese Witherspoon has also starred in "Pleasantville" with Tobey Maguire and "Walk the Line" with Joaquin Phoenix.

David moves into Elizabeth's apartment while she is in a coma, and he meets her spirit while living there. He helps her find out who she is and what happened to her. He ends up falling in love with her. Mark Ruffalo has also starred in "Rumor Has It" with Jennifer Aniston.
