Answer: 20th Century Fox

When Fox Film Corporation and Twentieth Century Pictures merged in 1935, 20th Fox Century was born. The name Fox in the company's name is a reference to William Fox, the founder of Fox Film Corporation.

The company's original logo was designed by Emil Kosa, Jr., who was best remembered for his matte painting of the Statue of Liberty shown toward the end of the movie "Planet of the Apes" (1968). The familiar fanfare which plays over the logo was composed by Alfred Newman.

A more modern CGI logo, created by Blue Sky Studios, was used in "Avatar" (2009). A special 75th Anniversary logo was featured in both "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" (2010) and "Gulliver's Travels" (2010).

Columbia Picture's original name was Cohn-Brandt-Cohn Film Sales, which was founded in 1919 by Jack Cohn, Harry Cohn and Joe Brandt.

The original logo of Columbia Picture back in 1924 featured a Roman soldier holding a shield and a stick of wheat. The Torch Lady logo debuted four years later. Since then, the logo went through several slight modifications.

The female model used for the creation of the first logo remains a mystery. In 1993, Michael Deas was hired to revamp the company's logo. He revealed that the model he used to create the logo was a housewife named Jenny Joseph.

Founded in 1994, DreamWorks SKG is well-known for its popular animated features, such as "Chicken Run" (2000), "Bee Movie" (2007) and "How to Train Your Dragon" (2010).

The acronym SKG refers to the three founders of the company, namely Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen.

While Steven Spielberg wanted a computer-generated image for his company's logo, Dennis Muren, a special effects artist, proposed a hand-painted one instead. Robert Hunt was then hired to create the logo and he produced both versions. Hunt used his son, William, as the boy model.

Focus Features was founded in 2002 when USA Films, Universal Focus and Good Machine combined.

The letter "O" in the word "F O C U S" is deliberately blurred to highlight the name of the company. When Marcus Loew combined Metro Pictures, Goldwyn Pictures Corporation and Louis B. Mayer Pictures in 1924, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) was born.

The studio's Latin motto, "Ars Gratia Artis", means "art for art's sake". The original logo that featured a lion was Howard Dietz's idea. Dietz was the company's chief publicist. He got the inspiration from his university's mascot, the Columbia University lion.

The names of the first five lions used for the company's logo, in chronological order, are Slats (1916 - 1928), Jackie (1928 - 1956), Tanner (1934 - 1956), George (1956 - 1958) and Leo (first used in 1957).

Founded by Adolph Zukor in 1912, Paramount Pictures is the oldest American movie production company. Zukor was a Hungarian and he migrated to the US when he was 16 years old.

W. W. Hodkinson, or better known as The Man Who Invented Hollywood, drew a doodle of the mountain that was used as the studio's first logo during his meeting with Zukor.

To celebrate the studio's 90th Anniversary, a CGI logo, which used Mount Everest as the mountain, was created in 2002.

Founded in 1979, Pixar Animation Studio is best known for its CGI-animated features, such as "Toy Story" (1995), "A Bug's Life" (1998) and "WALL-E" (2008).

Produced by Pixar, "Toy Story 3" won the Best Animated Feature award at the 83rd Annual Academy Award in 2011. It was also one of the 10 movies that were nominated for Best Picture.

The logo of Pixar Animation Studios featured a bouncing desk lamp that jumped onto the top of the letter "I" in the word "P I X A R", and replaced it. This hopping desk lamp is Luxo Jr., which was featured in the self-titled short movie produced by Pixar. "Luxo Jr." (1986) is also the first movie produced by Pixar.

The logo of Warner Bros. Pictures has featured a shield with the letters WB on it. There are many variations of the logo. In one of the most remembered versions, Bugs Bunny, a fictional cartoon character from the popular "Looney Tunes" series, is placed atop of the WB shield.
