Thomas Heywood Sr. is his name. He owns the Minnesota Twins. He dies shortly after the beginning of the film. Thomas Sr. has a tape with a message, as part of his will, that states that he wants Billy to own the Twins. Thomas Sr. has specified that if Billy is still too young, Thomas Sr.'s aides are to run the business for Billy until Billy is old enough to do it himself.

It is shown on his shirt. Billy's best friends, Chuck and Joey, are also on the same little league team. After their game, Thomas Sr. and Billy's mom, Jenny, take the boys to get ice cream.

Answer: George O'Farrell

George O'Farrell is a short tempered and overbearing person. He is too hard on the players, according to Billy, and screams a lot and calls some of the players names. He seems to dislike Spencer Hamilton the most, as shown when George tells Spencer that he is gonna kill him, before going back to his office. George is then shown going after Spencer again at practice, even after Billy asks him to ease up some. George doesn't listen to Billy's request. Later on, George insults Billy while talking about signing Ricky Henderson on the team because George thinks Ricky is a bad influence. George also tells Billy to stay out of the team's business, so Billy fires George.

George Knox is in "Angels In The Outfield", Jimmy Dugan is in "A League of Their Own", and Lou Piniellla is the former manager of the Seattle Mariners.

Lou is first seen at bat against the Kansas City Royals, when Billy is watching it with Thomas Sr., his grandfather. After the game, Billy and Thomas Sr. come into the clubhouse where Thomas Sr. talks to Jim Bowers. Billy talks to Lou about the game. Lou then asks Billy how he is and if he is staying out of trouble, and Billy states that he is. Lou tells Billy not to let him hear any different, and asks Billy how his mom is. Billy tells Lou that she is doing well, and Lou asks Billy if he would tell her he says hi. Billy says that he will.

Answer: Jerry Johnson

Jerry is first seen after Billy finishes chatting with Lou. Billy and Jerry do a fist bump and Jerry asks Billy how he did at little league. Billy tells Jerry that it didn't turn out well. Jerry then advises Billy to work on it more. Billy, later on, must release Jerry because Jerry just isn't cutting it anymore. Billy tells Jerry that he feels terrible having to do so, and tells Jerry that he still owns his baseball card, and even mentions that he wouldn't give it up for a Wade Boggs and a Sammy Sosa card, but this makes Jerry feel worse. Jerry then asks Billy if it's supposed to make him feel better, and also asks Billy if he is supposed to tell his wife about being cut by a 12 year old, but it's okay because he likes Jerry's baseball card. Billy downheartedly replies, "I guess not." Jerry tells Billy that it's all a big mistake because he isn't finished, and even yells at Billy before leaving.

Valleyfair is first mentioned by Jenny when she goes to pick up Billy and his friends from the stadium, when Lou asks Jenny if Billy has a birthday coming up. Jenny then tells him that its the 22nd and asks Lou how he knew. Lou tells Jenny about being invited.

At Valleyfair, Jenny and Lou start talking about love as they are walking toward the bridge where they see Billy, Chuck and Joey riding the water ride. Lou then asks Jenny if she would like to see a movie sometime. Billy is then heard motioning and telling Jenny and Lou to get off the bridge.

They don't hear him properly, and Jenny asks Lou what Billy said. As the water car plunges into the water, the water splashes onto the bridge, soaking Lou and Jenny. Lou then says that he thinks Billy told them to get off the bridge.

Answer: Blackout Gatling

Blackout doesn't seem to like Billy, since he calls Billy names and rudely tells him to go away when Billy went to inform Blackout that Bowers is gonna be pitching. Billy thinks Blackout's pitching and mechanics are too hard and that he should ease up some.

This doesn't impress Blackout, so he throws the baseball to the ground before walking back to the dugout. Later on, Blackout admits to Billy that he was right all along, and warms up to Billy.

Lowell is first seen when Jenny is reading a newspaper about the Twins and talking on the phone. She hears a knock at the door while talking and yells, "Come in." Chuck and Joey enter first, followed by Lowell. Jenny tells Chuck and Joey about the unlisted number problem, and spots Lowell, and tells Lowell that she doesn't know him. Chuck introduces Jenny to Lowell, and states that he and Joey let Lowell hang out with them sometimes if Billy isn't available. Jenny then says hi to Lowell, who waves back. Jenny then asks Chuck if he, Joey and Lowell can bring Billy his mail. Chuck tells her they can, with Lowell carrying the three boxes of Billy's mail.

Answer: Raging Waters

Chuck tells Billy that they'll meet him at Billy's house at 1:00 pm Thursday. Chuck asks Billy if it is a deal, and Billy says, "Deal." On Thursday, Billy's assistant manager Mac informs Billy about having lunch with Reggie Jackson, and tells Billy that Reggie wants to meet him. Billy excitedly tells Mac that he wants to go after being asked if he wants to. Billy ends up forgetting about the deal he made with Chuck, Joey and Lowell. Chuck and Joey are unhappy about it, since they had a deal.

They leave for Raging Waters, declaring they don't need Billy anyway. Later, when Billy comes home after having lunch with Mac and Reggie, Jenny informs Billy that he stood up Chuck, Joey and Lowell. Billy states that he forgot, and tells Jenny that he'll get the team to sign a couple of baseballs, only for Jenny to advise Billy to call his friends and apologize.

It is a pretty intense game, since for several innings, it happens to be a nothing-nothing tie. Then Ken Griffey Jr. is up to bat, and hits a home run. The second it shows Ken up to bat, Bowers pitches, and it is ball four, and Ken walks to first base. Wally Holland the announcer states that that's trouble because of Ken's really good base running ability. Toward the end, when Lou is up to bat, Randy Johnson pitches twice, with Lou hitting on the second pitch. Ken follows the ball all the way to the 400 ft. wall, then jumps up and catches the ball, robbing Lou of his home run. Ultimately, the Mariners win the game.
