He fights an Unnamed Fighter, Sub Zero, Kitana, Reptile and Shang Tsung. Johnny Cage fights Scorpion and Goro. Sonya fights Kano. Scorpion is the undead yellow-vested ninja. He, along with Sub Zero, is being mind controlled by Shang Tsung. Scorpion can launch snakes out of his hands and breathe fire.

Answer: Dragon Fireball

He uses the Dragon Fireball to blast Shang Tsung off the platform onto the bed of spikes. He uses the Bicycle Kick to defeat Reptile in Outworld. His Flying Kick and Cartwheel Uppercut aren't used. The Dragon Fireball is performed when Liu Kang launches a Fireball from between his hands.

Kitana gives him this clue during their battle and again secretly while watching Liu Kang fighting Sub Zero. Liu Kang doesn't understand the clue until the middle of the match when Sub Zero creates his Ice Sphere. The element is water and Liu Kang uses it to defeat him by sending it into the Ice Sphere creating a javelin.

The javelin freezes and kills Sub Zero. Note: All the moves seen in this movie are taken from the games except the Ice Sphere.

Answer: Splitz Punch

The Splitz Punch is when Johnny Cage does a split and punches the opponent in the groin. He uses the Splitz Punch against Goro to gain the upper hand. He tries to do his Shadow Kick against Scorpion, but it doesn't work because he goes through a portal as he does it.

Raiden's advice is for Liu Kang, Johnny Cage and Sonya to get over their personal problems and unite to win the tournament. The first to learn is Johnny Cage with his ego. Liu Kang learns later when he defeats Shang Tsung. Sonya doesn't learn until she is kidnapped by Shang Tsung.

After Johnny Cage tells Raiden that this is their tournament, he walks away and Raiden says, "At last, one of them has learned."

Answer: Leg Grab

She swings her legs up while Kano is taunting her in the middle of their battle. Once she grabs him, she breaks his neck. The rest of Sonya's moves aren't used in the movie.

Answer: Shang Tsung's Fatality

A Fatality is a signature special move that is done at the end of a battle to finish off the opponent. Shang Tsung uses his legendary Soul Steal. He performs it after the Unnamed Fighter loses to Liu Kang. After doing this, he smiles and quietly says, "Fatality."

Answer: Trust

She trusts herself and only herself since she lost her old partner to Kano. She relies on herself and refuses to let anyone get in her way. She doesn't get over this until she is kidnapped by Shang Tsung.

Answer: Jax

Jax is Sonya's partner. He is African-American with metallic arms and is known for his strength. He appears with Sonya while tracking Kano and before Sonya gets on Shang Tsung's boat. Jade, Baraka and Mileena all don't appear until the sequel.

Johnny Cage mentions he saw Art Lean fight there while they are talking outside Shang Tsung's boat before the tournament. Art Lean is a karate fighter who joins the heroes in the tournament. He is a supporter of Johnny Cage and is looking forward to competing in the tournament; however, he is killed in his the battle with the Shokan Prince, Goro. I wonder what he would be like if he was ever playable in the games.
