Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Somebody's Getting Married", "You Can't Take No for an Answer", and "Rat Scat".

Answer: The Muppets Take Manhattan

My favorite "Muppet" movie! This one follows Kermit and his friends as they attempt to get a show produced on Broadway.
2. "Hey! A Movie!", "Stepping out with a Star", and "The First Time it Happens".

Answer: The Great Muppet Caper

You have to love the Happiness Hotel with its catapult-like Murphy beds and crazy clientele. John Cleese is hilarious as a bored aristocrat.
3. "Boom Shakalaka", "Love Led us Here", and "Love Power".

Answer: Muppet Treasure Island

Even though this movie didn't stick very closely to Stevenson's classic, it had a great cast and some fun musical numbers.
4. "Never Before, Never Again", "I'm Going To Go Back There Someday", and "Movin' Right Along".

Answer: The Muppet Movie

The music in this film was composed by Paul Williams and creates an almost magical atmosphere. He recieved an Oscar nomination for "The Rainbow Connection".
5. "Jingle Bell Rock", "The Christmas Song", and "Deck the Halls".

Answer: A Muppet Family Christmas

This perennial favorite combines the casts of "The Muppet Show", "Sesame Street", and "Fraggle Rock" in a sweet family oriented movie set in Fozzie's childhood farmhouse.
6. "Grandma's Bathing Suit", "In our World", and "Aint No Hole in the Washtub".

Answer: Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas

This 1977 Classic focuses on young Emmet Otter as he and his jug-band try out for a local talent show.
7. "It Feels Like Christmas", "Just One More Sleep 'Til Christmas", and "Thankful Heart".

Answer: The Muppet Christmas Carol

This movie was filmed after Jim Henson's death and was directed by his son Brian. Michael Caine does an awesome job as the miserly Scrooge.
8. "Easy Going Day", "Upside Down World", and "Ain't No Road Too Long".

Answer: Follow That Bird

This movie follows Big Bird's adventures after a meddling social worker convinces him that he would be better off with his "own kind" than on "Sesame Street". It contains cameos from Sandra Bernhard and John Candy, among others.
9. "Dance Magic", "As the World Falls Down", and "Underground".

Answer: Labyrinth

When I was a kid, David Bowie as The Goblin King scared me to death. Jim Henson once said that his puppets in this movie were inspired by Maurice Sendak's drawings.
10. "Shining Star", "Celebration", and "Dazz".

Answer: Muppets From Space

This film finally solves the undying question: "What species is Gonzo?". There are great cameos from David Arquette and F. Murray Abraham.
