The over-the-top hot and sticky south.

Answer: Ulysses Everett McGill

Answer: Pete

This was a perfect part for him. He always seemed to be in his own world and saw things through this world only.
4. What does Everett put in his hair?

Answer: Dapper Dan

It has to be Dapper Dan or nothing at all and the hair net was a nice touch.
5. When Pete, Everett & Delmar are spending the night at the Hogwallop's house and wake up to the sound of "the authorities", telling them that they are surrounded, what does Everett (George Clooney) say over and over?

Answer: "Damn, we're in a tight spot!"

When the three men are in trouble, I love their use of facial expressions showing confusion and sheer panic.
6. Who turns them in to "the authorities"?

Answer: Wash Hogwallop, Pete's cousin

Pete can't believe that Wash turned them in and says, "You's kin!" Wash replies, "It's the Depression. I got to do what's good for me and mine!"

Answer: Boy Hogwallop

Delmar is so glad to be saved and such a contrast to the Atheist that Everett is. Pete doesn't say much about it.

Their song, "I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow" becomes a hit and they didn't even know it!

An evil Bible salesman and thief, parodying the cyclops from "The Odyssey" is brilliant and frightening.

Answer: In the neighborhood of B.

I love the "neighborhood" reference.

Answer: His clothes are laid out on the rocks and a toad pops out.

As Delmar said, "They loved him up and turned him into a horny toad!"
14. When do we see Pete next, after Delmar thinks he has been turned into a horny toad?

Answer: In the woods being beaten with a whip.

The audience learns that Pete isn't a horny toad or dead after all as he is being beaten to reveal where his friends are. Delmar first sees him in a chain gang on the side of the road.
15. When Everett and Delmar see Pete in the theatre, what does Pete say to them?

Answer: "Do not seek the treasure!"

There is no treasure. Everett never held up an armored truck. He was practicing law without a license and busted out of jail because he had to stop his wife from marrying someone else.
