Operation Hard Hat: "Up In Smoke" Quiz

Answer: Strawberry crashes his motorcyle into the police stake out vehicle.

Pedro and Anthony enter Strawberry's home to find it a mess with nobody in sight. Strawberry steps on a bottle and scares the two from behind. The cops are staking out Strawberry's house and eventually raid it, but Strawberry never figures it out. Pedro sees the raid as he and Strawberry return to the house, and tries to tell Strawberry.

However, Pedro's effort is lost due to the PTSD flashback Strawberry starts to have. Pedro ends up crashing into a phone booth after Strawberry jumps off the motorcycle without stopping.

After the raid is over and everybody is gone, Strawberry returns to the house with a rifle. Still in a PTSD flashback, he shoots the caged bird. You see feathers fly out of the window following a gunshot.

Answer: "Guacamole in my shoes"

As Pedro is listing off the bands his music sounds like, mentioning El Chicano, he bursts into song. He repeats the line "Guacamole in my shoes" twice before his eyes bug out over the size of the joint he is being passed.

Answer: Star Star

It is not clear if it is the original Rolling Stones version, but you can hear the chorus being repeated over and over.

Answer: They were deported.

Pedro and Anthony were at a house trying to get high from some stuff Curtis procured for them. Pedro saw some kind of law officers approach the house. As they both hid, Pedro took another peek, and realized it was not Drug Enforcement, but rather Immigration. Pedro's relatives called the Immigration on themselves so they could get free transportation to Tijuana for his cousin's wedding. Somehow, Pedro and Anthony got swept up in the raid too.

Answer: The front tire of their squad car

For some reason, as the green van is heading the opposite direction on an overpass, Stedenko wants Harry to shoot out the tires. In fact, Stedenko makes Harry use his gun, and Harry promptly shoots out their front right tire. This leads to a great scene where Stedenko loses it, and Harry is sent to sit in the back of the car.

Answer: A front grille from a Rolls Royce

As Anthony drives away from his house, the shot pans out and we see what we think is a Rolls Royce that he is driving. It makes sense since his house looks like his parents have money. As the shot pans out more, we finally see Anthony drives a VW Bug with the Rolls Royce grille. Eventually we see the owner of the Rolls Royce, and the car minus a grille.

The person is yelling as Anthony rides off into the movie.

Answer: Alice Bowie

By the time they take the stage, the audience is rowdy and impatient. The PA announcer introduces them as Alice Bowie, and Pedro runs out with the pink tutu on. The guys are bumbling on the stage even before they start. Anthony's drum kit falls over.

As all of this happens the green van parked outside catches fire, and the marijuana laced smoke bellows into the theater. This mellows the crowd, and Alice Bowie manages to start playing and kills it.

Answer: He stuffs his face with pizza.

Dressed as monks, Sgt. Stedenko and his team were standing next to the green van as it continued to burn, and belch smoke everywhere. The rest of the team was clearly stoned and had proceeded to procure pizza to curb the munchies. Initially disgusted with his team, Stedenko admitted he was stoned, to which Harry suggested he go with it.

After a few moments of self pity and dazed reflection, Stedenko told his team he will go with it, and stuffed several slices of pizza in his mouth. He continued to cram the pizza in his mouth as his team cheered him on, "Go with it. Go with it"

Answer: King Salami

In the van, Jade starts telling a story in which she adds provocative sound effects. All of Jade's moaning and whining can be heard by Pedro and others outside of the van. Anthony is brought out of his sleep by a leg cramp or muscle pull, and he starts to groan in agony. Pedro takes on the look of an embarrassed friend as he is helpless to stop what appears to be taking place in the van.

When Anthony exits the back of the van, he is greeted with applause. Pedro escorts Anthony to the theater door, and holds it open for him, and says "After you, King Salami"

Answer: Waiters

Curtis is so sure the uniforms are high style. Anthony enters the room wearing his uniform, but it clearly does not fit. He quickly declares the uniforms lame, and tells the room that the uniforms make them look like waiters. Pedro proceeds to agree with Anthony, and informs Curtis that the band should wear outfits that are, "different, but the same".
