On Skull Island, the boat crew searched for Ann Darrow and Jimmy was near Hayes. Hayes once told him that he would run if he told him to run. Jimmy said he did not want to run because that would make him look cowardly but Hayes responded by telling him it had nothing to do with bravery.

The boat crew embarked on a mission at Skull Island to retrieve Ann after she had been taken by an unknown creature. They came across a gigantic footprint to which Lumpy made a quip. He said it had to have been The Abominable Snowman who left it there.
