"Runaway Jury" - Just the Jurors Quiz

Answer: Frank Herrera

Frank Herrera (Cliff Curtis) liked to be in charge. He fought in Panama, but upon his return, took a job cleaning swimming pools. Fitch (Gene Hackman) said that he missed his position of authority. He was apparently right. Rikki Coleman (Rhoda Griffis) and Lonnie Shaver (Bill Nunn) suggested themselves after Frank; Nicholas Easter (John Cusack) did not suggest himself at all.

Answer: He was the only person who stood up to the judge and seemed to know something about the law.

Nicholas Easter suggested that Herman Grimes be foreman. Everybody seemed to like this idea except for Frank Herrera. However, he ended up voting for Herman too, making it a unanimous vote.

Answer: Vanessa Lembeck

Vanessa Lembeck (Jennifer Beals) was one of the most attractive members of the jury. She was tall, thin, and beautiful, making her irresistible to the male jurors. Jerry Hernandez (Luis Guzmán referred to her as a "tall glass of iced tea", though she did not hear him.

Answer: Grocery store manager

Fitch sent his people into the grocery business, so they could keep an eye on Lonnie Shaver. Lonnie had three kids to support, so although he didn't love his job, he put up with it. Fitch's people told him they were in the process of acquiring the store, and were thinking of giving him a bigger role in the operation of the store, which pleased him. Frank Herrera was the swimming pool cleaner; Nicholas Easter was the video game store clerk; Phillip Savelle (Jason Davis) was the yoga instructor.

Nicholas Easter never really had a dead friend, but he wanted to show Fitch and Rohr (Dustin Hoffman), that he could manipulate the jury. People suggested saying a prayer and singing "God Bless America", but both ideas were rejected. Millie Dupree (Rusty Schwimmer) suggested they say the "Pledge of Allegiance" in the courtroom.

After Judge Harkin (Bruce McGill) entered and everyone sat back down, the jury remained standing and said the "Pledge of Allegiance".

Loreen Duke (Juanita Jennings) was an original jury member. She was the juror who first questioned why Frank Herrera should be foreman. Lydia Deets (Corri English), Henry Wu (Xuan Van Ngyuen), and Philip Savelle were the three alternates.

At the voir dire, Lydia Deets and Nicholas Easter were sitting next to each other and she made a flirtatious remark. Marlee (Rachel Weisz) was not on the jury; Rikki Coleman and Millie Dupree were both married.

Nicholas Easter was "trying" to get out of the jury. In reality, he wanted on the jury, and used an excuse that was guaranteed to tick off Judge Harkin. The other excuses were suggested by co-workers.

Rikki Coleman - they discovered she had an abortion as the result of an affair. Millie Dupree - they discovered that her real estate husband has had some shady dealings. Eddie Weese (Guy Torry) - they discovered that he was HIV positive.

Answer: As a result of someone breaking into Nicholas Easter's apartment and snooping around.

One of Fitch's people broke into Nicholas Easter's apartment to dig up information on him. However, Nicholas had a hidden security camera that caught the whole thing, and he showed it to the judge. Rikki Coleman's suicide attempt may have been part of the reason, but it was mainly because of what happened at Nicholas Easter's apartment. Stella Hulic (Nora Dunn) was removed from the jury when they discovered her drinking problem and Frank Herrera never talked to the media.
