Answer: The Big Bad Wolf

The movie opens with Prince Charming telling the fairy tale story about Fiona's rescue, with himself in the role of the rescuer. When it comes to the part where he is supposed to deliver the kiss that will break the curse, he pulls back the bed curtains to find the Big Bad Wolf, who tells him that Fiona is off on her honeymoon. Later on Charming relates the experience, complaining that he found a 'gender confused wolf' instead of the princess he felt he was entitled to.

Ms. Andrews is no stranger to playing royalty, having played, or given voice to royal figures three times before 'Shrek 2'. Her first role ever was to provide the voice of Princess Zeila in 'La Rosa di Bagdad' (1949). Then in 1957 she portrayed Cinderella in a television special. In 2001 she played Queen Clarisse Renaldi in 'The Princess Diaries'.

Answer: The King

The King was not thrilled about the idea of his daughter marrying an ogre and living in a swamp. He hired Puss In Boots to eliminate Shrek, so that his daughter could live a more normal life. The King also had an arrangement with Fairy Godmother for Prince Charming to marry Fiona, but we don't know about that at this point.

Answer: The Poison Apple

This scene is a parody of the scene from 'The Fellowship of the Ring', when the hobbits arrive at The Prancing Pony. The signs for both establishments are shown in exactly the same way. Also, our initial introduction to Puss In Boots is not unlike our initial introduction to Aragorn, or Strider, as he is known at The Prancing Pony.

Answer: Donkey

After Puss In Boots makes an unsuccessful attempt to dispose of Shrek, he begs forgiveness and asks for the opportunity to help Shrek, to repay his mistake. Shrek is quite taken with Puss In Boots, but Donkey is very jealous and raises a few objections.

Answer: with a tear

Fairy Godmother first appeared to Fiona after she was crying. When Shrek wanted to get hold of her to find a way to make himself more attractive to Fiona, Donkey worked up a tear and let it fall on Fairy Godmother's business card.

Answer: a little bag of catnip

This scene is absolutely hysterical. After the knight pulls out the bag and says 'Yep, that's catnip.' Puss In Boots says 'Um, that's not mine.' Afterwards, when they have our friends in the back of a paddy wagon-like vehicle they 'spray' Shrek with pepper from a pepper mill.

They were watching a television-like program on the Magic Mirror that had a Joan Rivers type character commenting on the guests arriving at the ball. A commercial came on for a medieval cop show, which showed Shrek, Donkey and Puss In Boots being arrested.

Answer: a thong

They needed Pinocchio's nose to grow so that the Gingerbread Man could run down the nose and help their friends escape, so they told him to tell a lie. When he couldn't think of a lie to tell they told him to say that he was wearing women's underwear.

When this didn't cause his nose to grow, they figured out that he really was wearing women's underwear. Eventually the Gingerbread Man looked and announced that Pinocchio was wearing a thong.

Answer: he was a frog

Fairy Godmother wanted the King to slip Fiona a potion that would make her fall in love with the first person that she kissed. When the King expressed reluctance to do this, Fairy Godmother menacingly reminded him that she had helped him achieve his 'happily ever after'.

The King decided not to manipulate his daughter like that, and ended up being turned back into a frog when he jumped in front of a blast from Fairy Godmother's wand.
