Gary Fleder did an outstanding job of directing John Cusack, Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, and Rachel Weisz. There are a few scenes where you feel so involved in the action, that you find yourself wanting to step out of the way. The movie deals with a suit that holds a major gun manufacturer responsible for the misuse of its products, whereas the book was about holding tobacco companies responsible for the deaths that their products caused.

Joel and Ethan Coen directed this classic battle of the sexes. Geoffrey Rush and Billy Bob Thornton are wonderful in supporting roles, in a film that is very reminiscent of the old, romantic comedies that Cary Grant made his own.

Although Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant are both incredibly talented, the on-screen chemistry between them falls just a little flat in this Marc Lawrence film. Still it is worth seeing. The original plan called for the movie to be filmed in Canada, but Bullock felt strongly that a movie about New York City shouldn't be filmed anywhere but New York City.

Jim Sharman directed this audience participartion film which has become a cult classic. Susan Sarandon, Tim Curry, Barry Bostwick, Richard O'Brien and Meatloaf all starred. Mick Jagger wanted to play Frank-N-Furter but lost out to Curry, who originated the role on stage. Watch carefully during the wedding at the beginning of the film, many of the cast can be spotted, including Curry who plays the part of the minister.

Jonathon Lynn directed this funny film that was set in Montreal, Canada, and also starred Michael Clarke Duncan. The kids who run between Willis and Arquette by the flower cart are Willis' three daughters.

Adrian Lyne directed a young Jennifer Beals in this movie which was supposedly inspired by a trip to a Toronto strip club. Most of the dance scenes were actually performed by Marine Jahan. Apparently Brian De Palma was originally supposed to direct, but withdrew to direct 'Scarface'.

It's kind of interesting to try and imagine what the film would have turned out like had he been the one to direct.

No one plays a crazy tyrant better than Christopher Walken, and he certainly doesn't disappoint this time, under Peter Berg's direction. Seann William Scott is very funny as the wayward son.
This movie was known as 'Welcome to the Jungle' in some parts of the world.

Ridley Scott directed this third in the Hannibal Lecter series, starring Anthony Hopkins, Julianne Moore, Gary Oldman and Ray Liotta. An animatronic of Liotta was used for the scenes where the top of his head was removed. Hopkins is a very accomplished musician, and the music he plays in the film is his own.

Apparently Harrison Ford turned down the role. One can't help but wonder if Ryan would still be married to Quaid, if Ford accepted the part.

Adam Shankman directed Shane West and Mandy Moore in this movie based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks. Both the movie and the book are dedicated to Sparks' sister Danielle, the inspiration for the character. Peter Coyote played Moore's father and Darryl Hannah played West's mother.
