Every year Steve, Jeff and Dave do numerous public appearances as the Hanson brothers and took up these roles again for the unsuccessful sequel in 2002.

"Lady of Spain" was a staple at old time hockey games. It was written in 1931 and popularized by accordion player Dick Contino and then later by Eddie Fisher. This song wasn't tough enough for Reggie and the Chiefs' style.

The radio announcer's introduction of Ogie states, "This young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him."
