Then Ken walks into the studio, in spotlight none the less, walks up to Liz and says, 'Pam Short has broken both her legs and I wanna dance with you.' As said by Kylie, 'That was unexpected.' What classic, yet understated, humor! A joke pretty hard to catch unless you've seen this movie a few times.

It is Kendalls Dance Studio, with Les Kendall and Shirley Hastings (Scott's mom) as the instructors. Shirley Hastings was played by actress Pat Thompson. Pat passed away in April of 1992, the year this movie was released.

Spa-arama, good for the aching muscles. John Hannan, who plays Ken, was in the Australian movie 'A Cry in the Dark' in 1988.
