When we first see Pascal, Rapunzel's chameleon, they play hide and seek and chess amongst other things. He consistently changes colors, depending on the situation. Flynn refers to him as a frog multiple times, and Rapunzel corrects him by telling him that he is a chameleon.

Rapunzel hits Flynn with a frying pan to protect herself. She is very frightened by the situation, given she has not seen another person, besides Mother Gothel, since she was a baby.

She watches the lanterns every year from her bedroom and always wants to see them in person, and realizes this is her best chance. She feels like they are meant for her, and needs to know what they mean.

Rapunzel uses the glow of her hair when they are stuck in pitch black water. She rescues Flynn shortly after by throwing a large strand of her hair for him to grab onto. After they are safely alone, she heals Flynn's injured hand. Of the powers, she does not make him any younger. Obviously, this comes as a shock to Flynn, where on those occasions she tells him "Please don't freak out!"

Answer: Maximus hunts for Flynn

Rapunzel makes Maximus and Flynn agree to set a truce for 24 hours so that Rapunzel can see the lanterns. Since people keep tripping over Rapunzel's hair, Flynn finds four kids eager to braid it for her. After that, we see Rapunzel grabbing people and having them start a dance. And since Flynn is a wanted man, he is continually evading the guards.

Answer: Maximus

Maximus stays at the dock. After shortly paddling, Flynn throws a basket of apples to Maximus, saying that he bought "most of them". Flynn also hides two floating lights for he and Rapunzel to launch. She hides the satchel that contains the crown. It is at this time that we hear the "I See The Light" duet. During this song we see Flynn hand her a lantern and in return she hands him his satchel containing the crown.

Answer: The actual crown

She looks at the towel Flynn gave her with the kingdom's emblem. She then sees the emblem in her paintings, giving her flashbacks to seeing it being in her cradle and the bust she saw of the princess on the outside of the castle. Flynn then rescues Rapunzel from Gothel and they return to the castle. The long-lost princess is finally home.
