Gus used to be a bully. He hangs out, however, with his nerd friends. He is the only member of the team who is good at baseball. Also he is the only one who is married, or even kissed a girl!

Catcher: "That's strike 3!"

Catcher: "You're out!" "But I tipped it!" "You're still out!" "You're still fat!" This is great moment involving Gus, and also mainly Richie and the opposing catcher, as Richie strikes out and uses dumb insults to deny it.

Gus: "Wow, what a brutal comeback, I don't think I'll ever recover from that. C'mon guys, let's go."

Clark: "Hey stay away from the fairy dust Jerry!" (Gus and Clark as they walk out of Pizza Hut.)

The car looks pretty cool. After having a dramatic entrance by driving up, revving the engines, all with cool music playing in the background, Mel proceeds to peel out and crash right into the curb.

Number Seven can make an infinite amount of sandwiches, with an infinite amount of ingredients. He also runs over a dog with a lawnmower by mistake.

Carlos is a man (about 30 years old) who is great at baseball. He says he is 12 years old, despite the fact that he has kids, drinks and smokes throughout the scene.

Answer: They buy him some booze and he passes out from alcohol poisoning.

It is actually Carlos who steps on Gus's hand. This scene culminates in a particularly gross moment in which Carlos vomits all over Tim Meadows' character and drops flat on his back, he is so drunk.

Answer: Marty

Marty is very old. I consider him one of the funniest characters in the movie. There is a very funny, short dialog between Richie (who works at Video Spot) and Marty.

"Hey Marty, mind if I cut out early today?"

"I don't even know who you are!" (Richie makes gang hand symbol)

"Bros before hos dude" (Marty replies to the hand symbol by flipping Richie the bird which is especially funny since he is so old.)

"Oh, I smell cinnamon rolls too." (Richie takes an emphatic bite of a Twizzler after this completely random conversation).

These are fears of the outside and the sun.

Gus: "You gotta get outside buddy!"

Howie: "No, outside bad... Sun scary... Not my friend... Wants to hurt me... Inside SAFER!"

In this scene, Gus tries to convince Howie to go outside when they are talking in Howie's and Richie's apartment.

Answer: About the serial killer loose in the neighborhood. He's killing anyone named Howie. That's my name. THAT'S MY NAME!"

Howie: "What am I supposed to do again?"
Richie: "All you have to do is get the cookies."
Howie: "I don't know. They look very aggressive."
Richie: "Just bring the Thin Mints back into the apartment."
Howie: "Fine. You can eat the Thin Mints at my funeral, Richie." Richie instructing Howie on how to get cookies from Girl Scouts at the door.

Nick Swardson is a great comedian. In addition to "The Benchwarmers", he has also appeared in "Click", "Malibu's Most Wanted", "Blades of Glory", and "Grandma's Boy".

Later in this scene, Howie is shown in another gross moment squeezing a bottle of sunscreen in his mouth. Then Howie hijacks a microphone and tries to makes a speech: "I used to think the sun was a monster. I'm here to tell you that it's not a monster."
