Answer: Charlie and Mark

After moving to Chicago, all the children become unhappy and the children start fighting.

Charlie is the second child and oldest son. After moving to Chicago, Charlie is bullied at school and starts driving off to Midland to visit his girlfriend instead of going to school.

Mark is the seventh child and the fourth son. Throughout the movie it is said that Mark is very different from his other siblings and doesn't feel like he fits in. After his frog, Beans, dies and nobody cares, he runs away. After his sister Nora tells their father that she always wanted to run away to her "favorite place in the world", Tom finds Mark on a train going to Midland.

After Mark, the seventh child, runs away and gets off the train in Midland, he is reunited with his family at the train station. He finds it unexpected that his family are so worried about him after he ran away because his siblings keep calling him Fed-Ex. Jessica tells him that his vision problems can be traced back to several of the Baker ancestors and therefore Mark clearly belongs in the family.

Answer: Nora

Nora is the oldest child and therefore the oldest daughter. Nora is dating a guy named Hank.

During the breakfast scene at the beginning of the movie, Sarah calls Hank a doorknob and Jake says, "The man irons his jeans, mom!" as an argument for Hank being a doorknob.

Answer: Nigel and Kyle

All the 11 youngest children aren't fond of Nora's boyfriend, Hank, and try their best to get rid of him. When Nora and Hank come to visit, the nine youngest children plan another scheme against Hank. Phase one is getting Hank's underwear soaked so their parents would have to wash and dry them. Phase two is soaking the underwear in a bucket full of meat so that Gunner would attack him once he put on the underwear.

When Tom asks the children who is responsible for "the meat-soaking plot against Hank" Nigel and Kyle step forward. Tom doesn't buy it and concludes that Sarah must be the mastermind and that she has a "dark gift".

Answer: Charlie and Sarah

In Midland, Charlie is a quarterback on his high school's football team. In Chicago, he is put on defense.

Sarah, the fifth child and third daughter, plays lacrosse. In the breakfast scene, Kate states that Sarah's expulsion from lacrosse has been lifted. She is later seen carrying a lacrosse stick.

Answer: Jessica

Mike, the tenth child and fifth son, starts by taking sponges out of the pool.
Kim, the ninth child and the fifth daughter, calls out "heads up, Hank!"
Jake, the sixth child and the third son, comes riding on his skateboard making Hank turn around. Nigel and Kyle, the two youngest children, pull the water hose and make Hank trip and fall into the pool.

However, Jessica just stands beside Sarah and Kim and doesn't say or do anything except give Kim a nod when Sarah says, "Phase one complete."

Answer: Jake

Jake, who is the sixth child, is seen throughout the movie skateboarding, carrying his skateboard and talking about skates. The movie basically starts out with him telling his mother that he needs new skates.

After breakfast he is seen skateboarding on the porch. While looking for Mark, Jake skates around the neighborhood.

Answer: Lorraine

Lorraine, the third child, negotiates with her dad to get more minutes in the bathroom since she has to show society that "the Baker family actually owns a bar of soap". In that same scene, she says that one of her goals in life is to be a fashion guru. About two minutes later, she states that she is "so over Nora's hand-me-downs". Tom also uses Lorraine's dislike for hand-me-downs as an argument for moving to Chicago.

Answer: Henry

Henry is the fourth child. In the breakfast scene, Kate tells Henry that she cleaned his clarinet. While the family is packing the moving truck, Henry and his friends are seen playing music on the porch. Henry is playing the clarinet.

Answer: Holding signs that form the phrase "We love the coach"

Throughout the movie, whenever Tom coaches a football game, his children (or some of them) are seen in the stands holding the signs forming the phrase "We love the coach". After Tom starts coaching the Stallions and Kate leaves for her book-tour, the family become more and more dysfunctional and the number of children at his games becomes lower and lower as the movie moves on.

Towards the end of the movie, all of Tom's children are standing waiting for him to turn around with the signs forming the phrase "We love the coach".
