The snake was actually killed during filming. Tom Savina (makeup artist) came up with the idea after discovering a snake in his own cabin while on set.

Ralph did his best to warn the visitors of Crystal Lake that there was a killer on the loose. He was often made fun of because of his belief that anyone who dared intrude upon Camp Blood was "Doomed!" It was a shame to see Crazy Ralph go out like that.

Maybe if Scott wasn't teasing Terry by stealing her clothes, he wouldn't have stepped in that snare. "The prankster" stereotype usually doesn't fare too well at Crystal Lake.

It really looked like Vera was warming up to Shelly. He was a nice guy, just a little awkward. The scene is memorable because this was Jason's first kill with his iconic hockey mask.

Poor Ted. He was just trying to have a good time and have his own party. I do believe Jason took offense to his hedonism. Or, maybe Ted was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I apologize for two Ted questions in a row. Yes, it was crazy, drunk Ted. Ted was the one prankster from the films that was spared a gruesome death.

As Jason is chasing Rennie and Sean through Times Square, he comes across four guys listening to loud music on a portable stereo. Without missing a beat, he kicks the boombox while walking by. They all stand up and brandish weapons and the apparent leader attempts to scare Jason with a butterfly knife and the empty threat of, "You are dead meat slimebag." Jason pauses, turns around, and lifts his masks. That is obviously enough for these young men to change their minds about an altercation, and they promptly run away.

Answer: Duke Johnson

Duke was Roy Burns' fellow paramedic, and was one of those characters that you are meant to dislike from the start. He didn't have a huge part in the film, but it was a memorable one. He was not very sympathetic in the scene of Joey's death, or when he and Roy are called after Vinnie and Pete are attacked after their car breaks down. Near the finale of the film while Pam and Reggie were fleeing the killer, they discovered Duke's body in the ambulance with his throat slit.

This was the scene that proved that the film makers were going into "campy" territory for this one. The trio were discussing whether or not the paintball game was over when Katie thought she heard a noise. They stop and Jason drops into frame in front of them and immediately removes their heads from their bodies.

Unfortunately Jason's next victim, poor Roy, witnesses this and attempts to shoot Jason with his paintball gun. As we find out later in the flick, Roy is dismembered. Sheriff Garris and Officer Pappas discover his grisly remains.

After reporting Lizbeth and Darren missing to Sheriff Garris, Nikki and Cort decide to go out in an RV and get away from the camp for a while. Unfortunately, Jason decides to cut their little excursion short. After a display of some "less than impeccable" driving skills from Cort, Nikki stumbles into the RV's sleeping area.

After she gets up and attempts to storm to the front of the vehicle to tell Cort off, Jason pulls her into the RV restroom, and introduces her face to the metal wall.

This scene was cut down considerably due to the MPAA. Actually, a lot of the movie was censored because of the ratings system at the time. This is usually on every top ten list of slayings in the franchise.

I really hope nobody picked J.J. here. She was the ultimate "rocker chick" trope. Eva was the nice girl who sometimes made bad decisions.
Eva was a great character that deserved a better end, as well as more character building. But, I think that Ms. Kelly Hu is ok with how her career has turned out.

Tamara was one of the "mean girls" that you just really wanted to see get her comeuppance. She was manipulative to her friends as well as anyone else when she believed she could benefit from it.

Duke was willing to tell Steven how to stop Jason, but that he would have to pay for the information. His idea of payment was for Steven to willingly let Creighton break his fingers. Maybe Steve thought he was just bluffing. It quickly became obvious that he was not.

This is arguably one of the most memorable death scenes from the movies. This film isn't praised by critics or many fans of the franchise, but this scene is mentioned often in top lists of the series.

After Rowan and Jason's cryogenically frozen bodies are found on Earth and brought aboard the Grendel, Adrienne is tasked with the unenviable job of dissecting Mr. Voorhees. Unfortunately, he thaws out before she can finish, and attacks her. Jason pushes her head into a vat of liquid nitrogen, instantly freezing it. He then smashes her frozen head on the counter top.
