El Guapo (Alfonso Arau) said this when he met the Amigos for the first time. The Amigos were circling El Guapo and his gang and shooting their pistols in the air. El Guapo found it most amusing.

Pablo (Humberto Ortiz) asked this of Dusty while the Amigos were still under the impression that they were there for a performance. Dusty just stared in astonishment. He did give Pablo the watch at the end of the movie, however.

Dusty shot directly to the side and knocked the Swordsman off his horse. I think the actors made up their own phrases to say, because if you listen to Lucky's ("Farley-Farley-Farley-Hfuhruhurr"), you might recognize the name of the character Steve Martin played in his 1983 classic, "The Man With Two Brains", Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr (pronounced Huff-harrrr, or something like that).

Dusty asked this after the other two watched him slug down his canteen and throw what was left onto the hot desert ground. Lucky got one drop out of his canteen, and Ned's canteen only yielded dust. A split-second after El Guapo said this, Lucky lost his grip on the rope from which he was hanging and fell directly in front of El Guapo, to which Jefe responded, "Yes, El Guapo." Paco was the lookout guard on top of the fortress that El Guapo asked, "Jefe, what is his name?". Jefe told him, "That's Paco." El Guapo wanted to test the new gun, so he told Paco to hold up his hat, "No, higher", and then El Guapo shot him in the chest. I love that scene.
