Carl creeps in with his balloon and checks out what is going on. Ellie acts as if she is in an actual airplane. While doing this she makes all these realistic voice overs and says that she sees something and that is what she says that she sees. Beforehand she says, "I'm going to bring it back for science!"

Carl and Russell start to walk when they first get to South America (Paradise Falls). And Carl, sterotyping Russell as a crazy kid, says this to prevent him from doing things that Carl thinks he might do. Like all elderly people, Carl assumes that Russell is an uncivilized youth and that he will be an annoying bother. Right after that, Carl looks back at the house and says, "Don't worry, Ellie. We'll get there."

Answer: Alpha

When Alpha talks for the first time, he has a squeaky mouse voice that is very uncommon for the leader of the pack. He goes to his leader, Muntz, during the movie and gets it fixed.

At first, Carl thinks that a man is calling to him and asking if they are ok. He thinks that he is talking to a figure shaped as a man, but it's actually a rock. Russell starts to point out all of the other rocks that look like animals, and one of those is a turtle. The dog that Russell sees turns out to be Dug.

When they find Dug, Russell begins to examine him and messes with the switch. While messing with the switch, little by little you hear all of the different accents and languages telling him to stop messing with it. Dug speaks in around 10 different dialects!

Russell is really happy when he sees it, but two dogs gang up on him and eat almost all his meal. While this is happening, Muntz is trying to get the dogs to stop getting excited when he says the word "treat."

Muntz says constantly while Russell and Carl are there that he has the best cook ever, and that's the name he gives. When Russell and Carl try to escape, Russell mentions that they haven't had dessert. Muntz agrees and says that his cook makes a fantastic Cherries Jubilee.

Russell finally gets up to the house in an attempt to help out Carl. Then he sees three planes come out of the blimp. That's what he yells at them to make them crash because they hate squirrels so much. When the dogs are floating down in their parachutes the bulldog says, "I hate squirrels!"

Answer: Grape

The cap has a purple edge, which already kind of makes it look like the cap of a grape flavored soda bottle. Ellie gives this to him when Carl joins the adventure club.

Answer: Venezuela

Carl buys it to let Ellie know that he is going to fulfill their childhood dream of seeing Paradise Falls. Unfortunately, she dies before they can carry the plan out.
