Before the opening credits are shown a total of four rules were shown and explained by Columbus, the main character. They were, rule #1 cardio, rule #2 double tap, rule #3 beware of bathrooms, and #4 seatbelts. In the end of the movie he has a total of thirty-three rules, but only fifteen are shown in the film.

Just after telling us rule #7, travel light, Columbus tells us that he is heading home to Columbus, Ohio. He then says that although they weren't that close, he'd just like to see a familiar face without blood dripping from it. The characters in "Zombieland" are not referred to by names, but by destinations, by occupation, or where they live.

Tallahassee shows up driving a distinct Cadillac Escalade with a make shift plow attached to the front of the car and a white number three painted on the side. Tallahassee picks up Columbus and start to ride to their destinations. While driving along he notices a Hostess truck and pulls over.

He and Columbus get out and open the truck only to find snowballs, a snack that he doesn't like. Throughout the movie he stops at several places, in hopes of finding a Twinkie.

Answer: Banjo

Tallahassee plays the banjo and it draws the attention of a zombie. He runs to the zombie, hits it three times with the banjo, and kills it. Just after the other zombie dies, another one chases after Columbus. Columbus runs to Tallahassee, who is holding a baseball bat. Tallahassee then hits the zombie three times, killing it with the third swing.

Wichita says that her younger sister, Little Rock, is infected. She brings Tallahassee and Columbus over to her sister and ask one of them to shoot Little Rock. As Tallahassee is about to shoot, Wichita asks if she could shoot her sister. Just as if she is about to pull the trigger she points the gun at Tallahassee and tells him to give her the keys to his car and all of the weapons he has. Tallahassee does as instructed and the two girls drive off. Columbus and Tallahassee then are forced to walk.

As Tallahassee sees the guns he exclaims "Thank God for rednecks!" He proceeds to fire them while Columbus sits in the car. Before leaving, Tallahassee paints a three on the side of the Hummer.

Tallahasee's old Escalade was lying in the road, with the word help painted on it. Columbus stays back, in the Hummer, as Tallahassee goes to check the car. He finds nothing, and signals Columbus to drive down. As he gets in the car Little Rock appears with a shotgun and points it in Tallahassee's face.

After forcing Columbus to honk the horn Wichita appears. Wichita makes Columbus sit in the passenger seat and she drives all four of them off.

While Wichita is driving, just after she started driving, Little Rock says they are heading for Pacific Playland. They say they went there as little kids and also it's "zombie free".

Cynthia kills a zombie as she is entering Christian building. A zombie is chasing after her as she is going inside. She rings a bell and as the zombie approaches a piano lands on the zombie, killing it.

It all starts after Columbus sprays some cologne on Tallahassee, which makes him angry. He punches Columbus who knocks over an object that shatters after hitting the ground. Columbus notices Wichita is looking and knocks over a vase. This gets everyone breaking things in the store. After they are done and get back in the car Wichita smells the cologne and asks if its perfume.
