Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. These first few quotes encompass several different books in the Bible. "You ought to take a look at Luke 16, Mark 9, and Jude, there's one little chapter."

Answer: "Droppin' on the Sun"

A parody of "Walkin' on the Sun" by Smashmouth, from the "Biblical Graffiti" album. This song talks about hell and how very real it is.
2. "You gotta read Leviticus 18 and read a little more, Deuteronomy 27, Habakkuk 2:4."

Answer: "Learn Some Deuteronomy"

A parody of "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard, from the "Spoofernatural" album. This part gives several scriptures to demonstrate how messed up man is and how impossible it is to live by the law.
3. "In Genesis 1:2 and the same verse in Hebrews says the Father made everything."

Answer: "Triune Godhead"

A parody of "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones, from the "Radical History Tour" album. This portion shows sections of the Bible that seem to contradict each other but really make perfect sense when you take the trinity into account.
4. "Well, have you heard the story of the giant ship, which Noah started building in chapter 6?"

Answer: "Not Logs Lincoln"

A parody of "Hot Rod Lincoln" by Commander Cody, from the "Radical History Tour" album. This quote doesn't specify which book of the Bible it's in, but Noah's story begins in Genesis 6, and thus starts our look through Bible verses in ApologetiX songs.
5. "In chapter 11 you can look in Genesis, if you please."

Answer: "Rock This Tower"

A parody of "Rock This Town" by Stray Cats, from the "Spoofernatural" album. This song tells the story of the tower of Babel, which takes place in Genesis 11. It's the story of the people who tried to build a tower to reach to God, but God cut them down in their pride and made them speak in different languages so they couldn't understand each other.
6. "In Genesis 17, Abraham was gettin' old."

Answer: "Isaac Man"

A parody of "Ice Cream Man" by Van Halen, from the "Radical History Tour" album. This song tells the story of Isaac, who was the miracle child promised to Abraham in Genesis. Isaac was finally born when Abraham was 100 and his wife, Sarah, was 90.
7. "Genny 22's where I turn to."

Answer: Genny 22

A parody of "Jenny's Song (867-5309)" by Tommy Tutone, from the "Spoofernatural" album. This song tells the story of when God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, his promised son. Abraham didn't understand, but was all ready to go ahead with it, when God stopped him and told him that Abraham's faith had saved him.
8. "They have Exodus 3 if you plan to read more."

Answer: "YHWH"

A parody of "YMCA" by the Village People, from the "Grace Period" album. This song talks about the name "Yahweh," literally YHWH, which is one of the names for God in the Old Testament. This song gives several historical facts about the name, explaining where the name came from and what it means.
9. "You can read Exodus halfway through, you'll see that line in chapter 20 cause it's there too, yes, indeed, chapter 20 verse 3."

Answer: "One Way"

A parody of "One Week" by Barenaked Ladies, from the "Biblical Graffiti" album. This song gives several Scripture references that talk about Jesus being the only way to Heaven, or God being the only God.
10. "All I want for you is to read Numbers please, Chapter 22, sugarpop."

Answer: "Donkey Talked With Him"

A parody of "Honky Tonk Woman" by The Rolling Stones, from the "Biblical Graffiti" album. This song tells the story of Balaam and his talking donkey, which, as the song states, is found in Numbers 22.
