Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What was the band originally going to be called?

Answer: Civilian

Although the newly formed quartet made it clear that they were not the new millennium's Soundgarden or RATM, they weren't sure what to call their new project after facing legal issues securing the band names Civilian and Audioslave, both which were already taken. But an unsigned British band already going by the moniker of Audioslave eventually struck a lucrative monetary deal that allowed the Cornell-fronted American band to also use the name.
2. Absolutely NO hints on this one whatsoever! What two bands formed to create Audioslave?

Answer: Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine

Soundgarden split up in April 1997, and Rage Against the Machine disbanded in late 2000.
3. Just before Audioslave was slotted to play Ozzfest 2002, Chris Cornell left the band. Why did he do this?

Answer: Trouble with his management company

Just as Audioslave were slotted to play Ozzfest 2002, Cornell abruptly resigned from the band, mainly due to the continuous disputes between his management company, Rebel Waltz, and the management of the other members, Q-Prime. Six weeks later, Cornell rejoined Audioslave just as they were putting the finishing touches on their debut album, and the restored lineup collectively hired a third management company to prevent future problems.

Answer: "Cochise", "Like A Stone", "Show Me How to Live", "I Am The Highway", "What You Are"
