Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The song "Move" is by which artist?

Answer: Thousand Foot Krutch

An explosive song by Thousand Foot Krutch just makes you want to--move. From the album "The Art of Breaking," "Move" is yet another amazing song that ranks up against any mainstream hard rock band. The song has even been played on "Sports Center" during a highlight reel.
2. "The Slam" is by which artist?

Answer: Tobymac

From the CD "Welcome To Diverse City," "The Slam" is arguably the loudest song on the album. "The Slam" also won a Dove Award for Rock Recorded Song of the Year in 2006.
3. "And lately the weather has been so bi-polar and consequently so have I" is part of the chorus in which song?

Answer: High Of '75

"Man It's Hot Up In Here" and "Low Of '23" are not even songs. The line is really in "High Of '75" by Relient K. "Maintain Consciousness" was a Relient K song, but it wasn't the one. The line is followed by "And now I'm sunny with a high of 75 since you took my heavy heart and made it light." This song is one of my personal favorites since it is just such a fun song.
4. Which of these CD's were by Tait?

Answer: Lose This Life

Believe it or not, "Lose This Life" was the only title by Tait. "Tait: The Album" isn't the name of any Tait CD. "Momentum" is by Tobymac and "Hearts of the Innocent" is by Kutless. "Lose This Life" was written soon after Michael Tait's grandfather's death so the lyrics will help those who might have recently lost someone.
5. Can you finish the chorus of this Switchfoot song, "I want more than my desperation, I want more than..."?

Answer: my lonely nation

Switchfoot's mystery song is "Lonely Nation" from the CD "Nothing Is Sound." In the chorus, "I want more than my desperation, I want more than my lonely nation," is the last line. Switchfoot lives up to their reputation with a great CD in "Nothing Is Sound." It shows their unique views on the world and life while rockin' out at the same time.
6. What doesn't dc Talk want in the song, "I Don't Want It?"

Answer: sex before marriage

That's right, dc Talk actually had a song about not wanting sex before marriage. The song "I Don't Want It," from their platinum album "Free At Last," provides the Christian perspective on the subject with a hip-hop style.
7. In KJ-52's song "Life After Death," what does God ask the two men killed in a car wreck?

Answer: Why should I let you into My Heaven?

"Life After Death" is a song with four verses which follow a simplt order, car wreck, Heaven, car wreck, Heaven, with the chorus in between. In each Heaven verse, God asks, "Why should I let you into My Heaven?" This song is a powerful song that gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. On an album with mostly rap, it is refreshing to hear a song that I would classify as rock.
8. Who is the lead singer in Kutless?

Answer: Jon Micah Sumrall

Jon Micah Sumrall is the lead singer in Kutless. Toby is better known as Tobymac, Matt Thiessen is the lead vocalist in Relient K and Jeremy Camp is a solo artist. Since Kutless' beginnings, his vocals are one reason why Kutless has beocme a very popular Christian Rock band. With the album "Hearts of the Innocent," Kutless is sure to build on their successes.
9. In Pillar's special edition of the CD, "Where Do We Go From Here", which of these songs was remixed?

Answer: Bring Me Down

The original version of the song "Bring Me Down" is a very loud song with booming guitars and drums. The remix, however, has been toned down as far as the intensity of the song. Version number two is not quite as explosive, but the song is still excellent.
10. In the CD, "Smash Ups," Relient K and Tobymac mix which songs together?

Answer: "Yours" and "Pressing On"

"Smash Ups" was a CD that took the music to a song and added the lyrics of a completely different song. Relient K and Tobymac fused "Yours" and "Pressing On" to create a whole new song. It had the tune of "Pressing On" and the lyrics of "Yours." Both of these songs are pretty electric but when you put them together, it makes a super song.
