Billy Joel's "Cold Spring Harbour" Album Quiz

Many believe "Piano Man" was his first album, but it's actually his second. How often have you listened to his often-underrated "Cold Spring Harbour"? (Yes I know he spells it H-A-R-B-O-R but I'm not from US) If you liked it, this quiz is for you.

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Song Number One: What does Billy have to do when the girl (of whom he remarks "She's Got A Way") "reveals" him?

Answer: Laugh

The live version of "She's Got Away" is the better-known version, but personally I feel this one is better.
2. Can you finish this lyric from Song Number Two "You Can Make Me Free"? "I can take to the skies..."

Answer: I can soar like a bird

When I'd gotten this far into the tape I thought "Hmm. 'Bit different from his Greatest Hits' stuff, but it's far from bad."
3. Whereabouts is Billy when he's making confessions to the (we presume) girl to whom he is remarking "Everybody Loves You Now"? (Song Number Three)

Answer: The Staten Island Ferry

He sings:

"They all want your white body
And they await your reply
Ah, but between you and me
And the Staten Island Ferry
So do I"

I actually prefer its live version from "Songs In The Attic" but this one isn't too bad. As he said in "...Attic"'s inlay cover, the sound he originally wanted was easier to find in a concert hall than a studio.
4. Can you finish this lyric from Song Number Four: "Why Judy Why?": "There's no tomorrow 'cause my dream did not last, so I'll..."

Answer: Live in the past

Judy is actually Billy's sister.
5. Which of the following characters do NOT feature in Song Number Five "The Falling of the Rain"?

Answer: The woman with the tarot card in her hand

I must say the music in this song was quite ahead of its time! I love its piano work and fantastic mystical rythym.
6. What is the name of the woman Billy is singing to in Song Number Six "Turn Around"?

Answer: Eliza

"Oh, Eliza, you must begin again
and all the roads that you have walked are coming to an end.
I was your lover but I thought I was your friend
I loved you but I thought I was your friend."

The three other names were either his sister or an ex-wife.
7. Song Number Seven: "You Look So Good To Me" was re-released on which 1980s Billy Joel album?

Answer: It wasn't

To be honest I thought the lyrics and tune from this song were so corny so I made an unrelated question.
8. In Song Number Eight: "Tomorrow Is Today" Billy does not care "to know the hour" because...?

Answer: It's passing anyway

It must be said it does a very good job of switching between his normal voice and a deep voice (presumably meant to sound like that of a deep south inhabitant).
9. In Track Number Nine: "Nocturne", whom is he singing to?

Answer: Nobody

In fact he's not singing full-stop, this track is an instrumental!
10. In "Got To Begin Again", the final (and arguably best) song of Billy's first album, what has he just learnt which makes him sing "I see the way that I been spending my days, and reality has caught me by surprise"?

Answer: I was dreaming of tomorrow, so I sacrificed today

If you haven't heard this album before I do hope these samples have stirred your interest. The reason this album did not do so well when first released in 1971 was the producers had made some error, so it sounded like the chipmunks singing! Billy then went on the road afterwards under the name Bill Martin - and his adventures inspired his second album "Piano Man".
