A trumpet or cornet is almost always Bb, unless it is an Eb soprano cornet.
6. Which brass instrument requires the musician's hand to be in the bell (for tuning reasons)?

Answer: French horn

I'm not sure of the exact reason why the hand needs to be in the bell. Any French horn players out there, I'd love to know!
7. True or False: A Flugel horn is a common orchestral instrument.

Answer: False

The only brass instruments in an orchestra are trumpets, horns, trombones and the tuba. Flugel horns have been used, but not usually.
8. What is the most common way of tuning a trumpet?

Answer: Pull out or push in the tuning slide accordingly

It's as easy as that!
9. Which of these instruments is NOT a brass instrument?

Answer: Saxophone

Many people think the sax is a brass instrument, but it has a reed, making it woodwind.
10. How many octaves lower is a euphonium than a flugel horn?

Answer: 1

An octave is 8 notes. When a flugel, or trumpet/cornet plays middle C (treble clef) it sounds third space C on a euph.
