1. "Oh no, I see a spider web and it's me in the middle."

I put this song first on the quiz because, in my opinion, it's the best song on the album. This was the third commercial single from the album "Parachutes" The music is so incredibly beautiful. It makes me really appreciate the talent of the lead singer Chris Martin (he plays the piano).

2. "And it's you I see but you don't see me."

Answer: "Shiver"

This is Coldplay's first commercial single, and it's a worthy song for such a task. "I'll always be waiting for you" is a line in this song that's repeated a lot, so it would be easy to mistake that for the title.

3. "Cuz, yeah, everybody here's got somebody to lean on."

Answer: "Don't Panic"

This is the first track on "Parachutes." The first line of the song is "Oh, we're sinking like stones..." (which is where I got the idea for the title "Sinking") and repeated in the song is "We live in a beautiful world".

4. "So I wanna live in a wooden house."

Answer: "We Never Change"

This is probably the saddest and most melancholy song on the album. I absolutely adore it. "Oh and I don't have a soul to save. Yes, and I sin every single day. We never change, do we? We never learn, do we? So I wanna live in a wooden house where making more friends would be easy. I wanna live where the sun comes out." "Amsterdam" is, in my opinion, the equivalent to this song on Coldplay's second album "A Rush of Blood to the Head".

5. "And you know for you I'd bleed myself dry."

Answer: "Yellow"

This is Coldplay's second commercial release from "Parachutes". It's a nice, happy, romantic song, despite the somewhat gory image brought about by this particular quote. After hearing this song I developed a habit of calling things "yellow".

6. "I'll be 'round, I'll be loving you always."

Answer: "Parachutes"

This is the title track, and the shortest song on the album. It fades nicely into "High Speed." "I'll Be There" is originally a Jackson Five song. (Mariah Carey remade it beautifully on MTV "Unplugged". I have quite an obsession with her.)

7. "Oh, sing one we know."

Answer: "Sparks"

"Did I drive you away? I know what you'll say. You'll say 'Oh, sing one we know' I promise you this, I'll always look out for you. That's what I'll do." This song is up there with "We Never Change", but it's not quite as sad.

8. "We've been living life inside a bubble."

Answer: "High Speed"

9. "When everybody's out to get you, don't you let it drag you down."

Answer: "Everything's Not Lost"

This is the last song on the album, and there's a bonus track after it known as "Life Is For Living"- "Now I never meant to do you wrong, that's what I came here to say. And if I was wrong, then I'm sorry. I don't let it stand in our way. Cuz my head just aches when I think of the things that I shouldn't have done. But life is for living, we all know. And I don't want to live it alone."

10. "I awake to find no peace of mind."
