Answer: Chris Ledoux

The song, "Amarillo by Morning" was written by Terry Stafford and Paul Fraser. It's one of George Strait's most recognized songs, however Wyoming cowboy singer, the late Chris Ledoux, released it first in 1975. For George, radio play took the song to number four on the charts in 1984.

Answer: Lips of an Angel

"Lips of an Angel" was first released by the band Hinder on their album, "Extreme Behavior". Many country fans who don't listen to rock stations had no idea when Jack Ingram released the same song in 2006, that it was a hit for a rock band. The song hit number three Billboard's US Hot 100 chart for Hinder and number sixteen on the Country Billboard charts for Jack Ingram. Jack Ingram has been quoted as saying "There's nothing worse then getting heckled by a fourteen year old Hinder fan." When asked about his version of the song.
