3. South Bend, Indiana police are having trouble tracking down the perpetrator of a recent bank robbery. The suspect is female, wearing a black bandanna and speaking with a southern accent. Based on the police sketch, witnesses have reported spotting the perp in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi.

4. We've got a strange case here from Philadelphia. Police are at their wits' end trying to figure out if a recent four-alarm fire on the roof of an apartment building was a case of arson or of gross negligence. The multiple 911 calls from the neighbors reported that individuals within the building showed very little interest in trying to stop the blaze or in escaping. With any luck, the person who called in the first report may have seen the person who set the fire.

5. Thanks for your help on that one. Our next case comes to us from Rhode Island, where a young woman named Jennifer is reporting a series of harassing phone calls. She says that the prank caller is male, and that the calls are generally sexual in nature. Attempts to trace the calls all lead back to a pay phone near the men's room of the Horse and Groom pub.

6. Detective, we've got a report of an altercation in a bar in Alabama. A young lady by the name of Linda Lou Boudreaux is calling in from "The Jug" to report an incident between her husband and a blond-haired gentleman. The situation got somewhat out of hand when Mrs. Boudreaux's husband drew a .44 caliber gun. Fortunately the young man escaped, but Ms. Lou would like to apologize for her husband's behavior.

7. You're gonna get a kick out of this one, Detective. We've got a report from the Yellowstone Park Rangers that an individual has been leaving scads of stunned field mice around the campgrounds. Wildlife rehab workers report that the mice all show signs of blunt-force trauma to the head.
Can you help the rangers figure out what sort of monster would do such a thing?
8. A young prostitute by the name of Roxanne reports that she's got a stalker on her case. The stalker works for the local authorities so she's resorted to calling us instead. She says that the individual is watching every move she makes, and that she has received notes saying that he "can't stand losing her." She has asked him to not stand so close to her, but it looks like she'll need some help to get him off her back.

The fortune-teller's prized Persian cat was found in the care of a chauffeur named James.

10. It looks like our last case may well be a serial killer. Scotland Yard believes that three recent murders by blunt-force trauma to the head may be linked to one individual. The first victim, Joan Hanneford, was found dead in the biomedical lab at the University of Liverpool. The second was a member of the Medical School Faculty. The third was a judge on the bench at the Liverpool Crown Court.
