No doubt one of the most popular pieces of the world. It's the aria of the Count of Mantua in Verdi's "Rigoletto". The Count, a real ladykiller, sings of women and love, and how unstable and undecided they are...
2. Which German opera by a very famous composer features "Der Hölle Rache Kocht in Meinem Herzen"?

Answer: Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute)

It's the aria of the Queen of the Night. She tells her daughter Pamina that she wants her to kill Sarastro, the priest who took care of Pamina in order to protect her from her vicious mother. The opera was composed by Mozart.
3. In which Verdi opera can you hear the heartbreaking complaint "Ella giammai m'amo"?

Answer: Don Carlos

"She never loved me". King Philip muses over his marriage with Elisabeth, the French princess who is actually in love with Philip's son Carlos. This is my favorite Verdi opera (along with "La Traviata"), and this aria is one hell of a tear-jerker! Especially when Nicolai Ghiaurov sings it.

This is what Cavaradossi sings right before his execution. He remembers all the moments of love he had with Tosca. The aria is "pure Puccini".

"Il Barbiere di Siviglia", a very funny opera about the theme of themes. This is the story which is continued in Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro".
